It's interesting what some of you have inferred from the link I posted sans-commentary. I agree that he's a backup PG or possibly a fringe starter. I think he can play in this league though. I think we'll see a legitimate starting PG before the year is out. Especially if it looks like we can win some games.

Tj is rolling tonight. Might get his first 30-point game.

Bender 37% from 3 under Triano. Still only 40% from the field overall but that's because the majority of his shots are still 3's.

A couple of observations from the stats so far:
Jackson isn't passing as much as I expected. I still think he'll get there, but both his assists and turnovers are very low. in fact, only Daniels turns the ball over less. On the other hand, his 3pt shooting is better than I expected. Still not great, but definitely serviceable for a rookie.
Mike James really really likes to create his own shot. Like OMG, even Booker has 60% of his 3pt makes off assists. James is at 36%. 9% of his 2pters. Next game, I'm going to watch how he does on catch and shoot situations. Is he dribbling directly after a catch? Does he not get passes in scoring position? Maybe he just shoots that much better in a rhythm after setting up his own shot?
Booker, Warren, Bender, and Chriss are all rebounding much better than last season.

Apparently they asked when he saw Bledsoe's tweet and he said it was as he was walking into the meeting to get fired.
Also, Lonzo Ball will be a superstar.

Agreed on Jackson. I love his handles and athleticism but shot selection is bad at the moment. Shooting surprised early but now his limitation in this area is showing. No real complains anyway. I am high on Jackson.

Watson did a great job of creating a positive culture and locker room atmosphere. He just wasn't ready to be a head coach on the basketball side of things. I have no ill will towards him and I hope he gets another opportunity somewhere. Probably needs to be an assistant for a few years.

I think he's much more suited to run a college program.

I think he's more suited to coach at a basketball camp for troubled kids.
