They'll probably just move to a different Arizona location no? The Arizona Suns makes more sense anyway...
A place for fans of the Phoenix Suns

The Seattle Suns. Makes about as much sense as the Utah Jazz.Bucktastic365 wrote:Let me introduce you to the.......SEATTLE SUNS

The city retained all of the Sonics rights.Bucktastic365 wrote: Lol, yeah, they’ll need to change the name of the team.
Seattle Drizzle??

Welcome, Buck. Thank you for your service.Bucktastic365 wrote:I’ve been here, in the shadows for a LONG time.
I’m now what’s known as a damned yankee; I started out as a NY’er and moved to SC for my old job.
I’ve been a Suns fan for as long as I’ve liked sports; 1993 to be exact, and I think most know what happened for the Suns in 93. I’ve posted once or twice before; back in the Tsakalidis days, but now I’m ready to jump into the discussions full bore.
I respect all of the “veterans” on here, and hope to add my 2 cents to the mix.
Sure am. The area is amazing for college sports. I’m planning on heading up to NC when the Suns play Charlotte in March.Superbone wrote:Welcome Buck! Are you still in SC?
The middle of the country feels very left out. Perhaps you have a favorite college football or basketball team?Bucktastic365 wrote:I like to think of my fandom as a square, lol.
I’m from NY, and I’m a fan of the Dolphins, Suns, and the Mariners.
You could say I’m a hard luck case.
It’s funny, cause growing up in western NY I never got into any college sports. Even now, I rarely watch. To me, college is more of the minor leagues of professional sports. The superstars (Marino, Barkley, Griffey) are what attracted me to my teams.In2ition wrote:The middle of the country feels very left out. Nice! You might have a lot in common with ShelC who is also a born and raised New Yorker who became a Suns fan. I think he because a fan a year or two before you when Hornacek was still on the team. It was the Suns' fast paced basketball that attracted him to the team versus the Knicks smash mouth basketball at the time with Anthony Mason and Co.Bucktastic365 wrote:Sure am. Because there is another city with an arena already built just waiting for them.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:Is this another one of those situations where an already very profitable NBA team tries to get a city's taxpayers to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to build an arena for them?
Where is South Carolina are you? Im based in Columbia right now (Gamecock fan).Bucktastic365 wrote:It’s funny, cause growing up in western NY I never got into any college sports. I suppose that I’m a SEC guy by heart now; ROLL TIDE; so I moved to the ultimate location.
