Canaan shooting the 3 well. Ayton with 10/6/2 at the half. Lucky to only be down 9.

The hope is that Booker can dramatically open things up for his teammates. We still desperately need a PG though.

McD needs to be working them Phones right now to get the team a pg.

3 putbacks and 1 lob, if I'm not mistaken. 0 touches in the flow of the offense were he is in a position to score.

I like that we have more movement and more purpose in our offense this year, but it isn't working for our players so far.

Quick halftime observations

- cannan can hit the set 3pt shot but not much else. Made some bad passes. We know what Shaq is so I’d rather we just run out our rookies more
- no one can really create anything and I fear we are running some thing similar to the old weave play. Because you know it was so successful previously
- chandler playing over Holmes. Would rather see Holmes
- coach needs to get on Jackson about being a creator first
- it’s sucks that neither warren or Jackson have improved outside shooting. Jackson keeps firing. At least warren seems to be making the extra pass instead. But buddy it’s preseason , get some confidence in that shot ( not to the extent Jackson is)

- booker will help to make bridges, ariZa and Anderson’s look better. Theyre not going to look good with this squad. Not getting open looks. Also why isn’t bridges playing ?

Do you think he is playing KFC because he wants him to mentor/lead Ayton, and he is more likely to be a successful influencer if he is actually playing in the games?

I am so pissed at his shot selection, especially considering we have seen him be so good at handling the ball and getting into the lane. It is like he is trying to expend the least amount of energy possible, but still get up 20 shots.

We really let the opponent drive all they like

It's infuriating. He has the potential to be a good defender, steady ball handler, effective slasher, and good playmaker. But his terrible shot selection holds everything back.
