So you don't think a backcourt of Booker and Lillard could work in Phx?
What do you mean "work"? Would they make the playoffs every year? Absolutely. Would they compete for a championship? I'm not confident they could. They would be horrendous on defense.
I’d take that bet. We’d be explosive offensively but would need another super wing to pick up the defensive slack. Bridges is legit, too bad we couldn’t steal Draymond for Ariza and JJ from GSW to pair with him.

Wow, just heard on NBATV that Fultz in now out until he see's a shoulder specialist and that his preference would be to "start fresh" with a new team. Also hearing about a possible wrist issue which he says is affecting his shot. The Markelle Fultz story continues to take strange new twists. I'm starting to wonder if this kid will ever be a good player. He definitely seems to have some kind of mental block.

Booker is no the only factor if we are making a trade. Others need to be fed, especially Ayton. Wall's drive and kick and pick and roll game would look great here. That contract is a concern given his injury history, but I could live with it. The attitude would be more of a problem to me, but maybe he is just burned out os WAS and needs a new start.
One thing is gor sure. If we keep sucking, Booker is going to demand a trade.
Being objective, I like the kid a ton, but he doesn't defend a lick and could bring a haul in a trade, might not end up the worst thing in the long run.

Don't see how we'd be in a different situation than what Portland is currently in. It'd all depend on Ayton and the surrounding pieces to make it work.

The Spurs got jobbed tonight and I loved it. They called a foul on the go ahead bucket by Gasol which was probably the right call (he made both FTs to pull ahead by 1) but then no call at the buzzer when Gasol made an even worse foul.

Prepare yourselves for an endless amount of "Should the Suns trade for Fultz?" talk.

The Kings beat the Jazz in Utah tonight. How fun it must be to be a Kings fan right now.

Thunder won running away at Golden State tonight but suffered a horrific injury to Diallo.

I'd take Fultz... He's quite possibly never gonna figure out the shooting thing, but he's better than Canaan without a shot anyways. I'm not going to give up anything of long-term value, but if Philly decides a Fultz-Ariza swap works for them, I'd do it.

Yep, he'd be real nice to have right now. Props to the Fox fans on the board... He was in my top 3 for us that year, but I had him behind Isaac and Jackson

True, but I am not a fan of putting two volume scorers in the backcourt together. I think that is what has hurt Portland and Washington. It's too easy to devolve the team's offense into one of those guys going one on five the entire game. That's not how you win.
Do you mean Western conference #1 seed Portland?
No, I mean the Portland Trail Blazers that got swept in the 2nd round of the playoffs by a lower seed. But if you want to "crown them" after 18 games, be my guest.

Many have called for Jeff Teague, but he is now shooting 37% from the field and 28% from 3. T-Wolves Twitter has fans clamoring to bench him.

I'm not positive that the people who've called for Jeff Teague actually watch him play.

I may be the only one who called for him. I've watched him play. He's just fine. But he's also significantly better than Canaan, who played 26 minutes last night.

He should be significantly better; he makes nearly 20X more money than Canaan. And is still shooting better than he is and isn't even close. And that's sad.

He’s been hurt. Career he’s 45/36/85.

I get that you don't want to give up valuable payers of picks for him, but do you consider adding his impact on the growth of the rest of the team? I don't think we need another player who has that much growing to do. I'm not sure I would take him off wavers right now, because I think he's a complication in the locker room and on the court. He's a wild card, and I don't think we need another guy who is unpredictable night in and night out.
He has fallen out of the rotation just as the 76ers have started rolling, and I don't think that's a coincidence.

Without a shot he's a bad fit next to Simmons and Butler...I think he fits better here next to Booker/Bridges. I understand taking on so many projects can be detrimental to the team, so it's a risk. We're so bad at PG though, so I'd take the chance.

Yeah, I wouldn’t give up much for him, but if we can get him without giving up much, he’s worth a chance. He certainly couldn’t be much worse than Canaan.
