I wish Igor had the balls to bench Booker, I really really do.
It would send a very strong message
What would the point of that be? He’s having a rough game, but he’s still clearly our best player.
He’s having a rough season.

He’s been a net negative for us. He’s a good volume scorer but that’s about it. His defense, turnovers, and inability make others around him better is killing us.
People don't seem to understand this though. Some casual fans actually think he should be in the All-Star Game.
You guys honestly think we’re better without booker?

This season really is doing a number on all of us.

I doubt anyone actually thinks that, but we do look more fluid when he doesn't play because the other team doesn't have a strong game-plan about who to focus on (and they don't need to). He is the highest caliber NBA player on our roster. No question.

It just gets old when we are just as successful in games he plays (8-36 for .182) as where he doesn't (3-12 for .200).

We are better in some ways and much worse in others. He’s a flashy scorer who is a net negative impact on this team so far this year. I think the glamour of his swagger has worn off and now the attitude and deficiencies are more visible.

The ball needs to stay in someone else's hands so Booker can be an off-ball option or at the very least a decoy. Johnson, Okobo, Jackson...they're not world killers but they make plays and go north-south.

He’s been a ball stopper all season though. Even when he’s playing beside a PG, once he gets the ball he backs up and waits for a pick and roll. The problem is he is awful on the PnR making decisions when they trap him. He should stick to spot up shooting and driving to the lane when the opportunity is there.

This offense would just look so much better if we ran it through Ayton instead of relying on Booker.

Yea he shouldn't be backing it out to run PnR. He gets a kickout, make a move unless doubled. Everything grinds to a halt when he's playing PnR.

That and he's no longer on a rookie salary. He's getting paid max money so with that come max money expectations.

Imagine putting Klay Thompson on the Orlando Magic and saying "here, now go play point guard".
Booker was trying to model his game after Harden this past off-season.

Max money doesn’t come till next season. He’s making 3 million right now

Did you know? Our "tragic number" is 3. That means 3 more losses for us, or 3 wins for the current playoff teams, would eliminate us from playoff contention.

I am amazed it is not a negative number by now, especially with how the West is.

I think it’s pretty rare anybody’s eliminated by the All-Star Break.

In the Suns last 85 games they are 13-72 (per Burns and Gambo).

Maybe.

As rare as the Suns having a sub .200 record by the all-star break?

Not sure why he went with 85. And those numbers don't line up. We have played 59 this year (11-48) and we finished the last year's final 26 games as 3-23. It should read 14-71.

Probably because we won the game before 85.

One day that Phoenix bird is gonna rise from the ashes. It certainly won’t be this year. Maybe we could temporarily call the team the Calcium Corbonates.

I wish the NBA had a clause where they could compel a shitty owner to sell his team if he sucks for a decade in a row. Sarver should be ousted by the other owners for his blatant mismanagement of this once proud NBA franchise.

Wouldn't that be nice. At least I wish the league would step in to turn this around like they did with Philly.
