Not sure what was going on with Oubre in this one. He started really strong and then disappeared and didn’t get playing time.

Remember 7-4? That was fun.

Seems like it was only a week ago. Here's to more wins soon. They've been quite sparse lately. I just hope we get Baynes back soon and can hold the fort until Ayton returns.

Yep. The injuries haven't helped. And sometimes you just get a hot team after they were embarrassed the game before. It happens.

Season could be over by then. There won't be many games separating 8th place and 9th place, and 5 or 6 of these losses could easily be the difference between 5th and 9th.

If they can scratch out a few more of these victories without any centers on the team it would help. Get Ayton and Baynes at full strength along with Ty Jerome playing well and who knows? We already had enough bad luck for a season. I feel a run in them when that happens.

You're being a bit overly optimistic with Jerome, 'dack. He's a fun 4th guard/8th-9th man off the bench this year.
I like him, but lets cool down until he plays more than a handful of minutes in his first game against a bad team.

I don’t know much about Jerome other than the talk here. The talk here made him sound like our BU PG. We already have about 3-4 BU PG’s so I am not that concerned about him. I hope he plays well enough to make him the BU and not just one of 5 BU’s. I don’t have that much faith in him yet, just hoping he lives up to the hype. If not we are covered.

Ty is the future starter here, I have faith

That’s a pretty bold statement. I did like what I saw last night, especially in the beginning. He seems to have a lot of court awareness and is deceptive.
I don’t like that Tyler Johnson and Ty Jerome have similar sounding names, they have the same look and play the same position. It’s almost like they are brothers. It shouldn’t bug me but it does.

This is true, he will be the future starter here.

Yeah, Book is lacking that F U chip on his shoulder lately. Not sure what's going on. He makes 45 3s in a row in practice and then goes 3-10 in the game and even air balls one. Maybe he's waiting for the big guys to all get back. I'm puzzled.

It is puzzling. He seems to have lost that killer instinct he's always had in the past. All I can figure is that he's trying to fit into Coach Williams' system. I think he may be taking it a little too far.

I'm convinced it's that. And I like that he's buying in, but he and Monty need to strike that balance between team play and "franchise player take over time".
Although, Book's pass to Kelly for the 3 in the corner last night was the right play. Most players/go-to guys would've jacked up a contested shot.
