The Suns already have enough trouble attracting quality free agents thanks to the owner and previous management. It would be a really bad look to trade their biggest FA signing in years after just 4 months regardless of how the roster turned out afterward.
"Biggest FA signing"?! It's Ricky Rubio, for crying out loud. If you can improve the team, trade him.

INF, are there any guys you would like to see the Suns go after at the trade deadline this year? Have you looked ahead to any free agents for the summer?

I still have eyes for Spencer Dinwiddie, and I think Mitchell Robinson might be a better big to develop in this era of the NBA.

The free agent class this upcoming offseason is pretty bare in terms of big time difference-makers; there are modest targets I have in mind.

I still would love to see the Suns bring in Christian Wood.

Yes, Ricky Rubio, the guy who just won MVP of the World Cup is the Suns biggest FA signing since Grant Hill in 2007.

If you were ranking all of the starting PGs in the NBA, would he be in the top 10? Or is he a middle of the road starting PG?

I'd like to see a list of ten current PGs who are supposedly better than Ricky Rubio.

Clearly better
Jamal Murray
Luka
Ja
Jrue
CP3
Dame
Simmons
Kemba
Lowry
Dinwiddie
Kyrie
Trae
Curry

Probably about the same, but some are on the rise (while others are falling)
Brogdon
De'AaronFox
Goran
Patty Mills
Lonzo
Bledsoe
De'Vonte Graham

I still think my dragic, Winslow, and herro trade idea for Booker will help this team get out of it's loser mindset.

Rubio isn't the problem with this team. This team sucked B.R.

They are. And I think I am more impressed that he is around a 28% usage rate as a rookie PG with only 3.2 TOs per game on a team with nothing/rookies around him. I mean their most played guys are Crowder and Dillon Brooks.

This team has sucked for nearly a decade. Nobody should be untouchable. If you can make a deal that improves your team, make it.

They didn't suck in 2014. That team was one for the record books. Name 2 teams with 48 win record that didn't make the playoffs.

I agree NOBODY should be untouchable.

Being one of the bottom half of teams in a conference doesn't make you a team for the record books. true, they didn't suck that year. That is why I said "nearly a decade."
