It seems to me it's more his potential future contract than the player himself where the "hate" is directed.

Of course, I wasn't being completely serious. But a lot of RealGMers freaked out and made it seem like I hated Eric Bledsoe.

I actually really like what he's done for the Suns in the brief time he's been on the court. He's been efficient and under control. He's also been clutch. I really like how he has played and don't have any major complaints. I think he was a little overrated defensively, but he's still been solid on that end of the court.

So you're exactly right, it's more his contract and whether he's an actual need on this team that I take issue with.

So am I. Instead of maxing or near-maxing Bled out I'd rather S&Ted him for an impact SF or PF if available. Love comes to mind as an obvious target here.

Can't see Minny maxing Bledsoe in a deal like that, not when they've been trying to sell Rubio as a star.

If we look to move him, (95% sure we're not) Bledsoe for Stephenson works on many levels IMO. A true swing who plays excellent D and can handle the rock.

I pretty much agree with INF's analysis of Bledsoe. He's a good player, and I'd like to keep him. But his injury scares me a little, and I'd rather see them target some high-quality big men if resources are scarce. I'd love to have Kevin Love on this team.

Knight's got a lot of potential. The problem is, he just isn't a primary point guard. But in a backcourt with Dragic, I think he could thrive.
