I really hope we can trade for CC.
Why? What would you do with Ayton?
Ayton can play with CC. We just need to wear pants with pockets. Not shure the NBA would approve it.
??? ....
To play with Cash Considerations you need pockets. Thats who i m hoping to aquire.

Seriously, i prefer we either do nothing or swing for the fences. Everything else is meh. I like Ayton and prefer to pair him with a traditional mobile tall four with the ability to stretch the floor.

This trade deadline has that looming feeling that we're going to trade away multiple future 1st-round picks for some iffy veteran help to make a questionable playoff run. That seems to be the direction James Jones has wanted to take us.

I think it's more of that Sarver impatience/panic more then anything else.

It certainly has the feeling that we are going to do something silly, or at least a trade that you have to talk yourself into being somewhat ok with, rather than a logical, good trade.

The roster and cap sheet are set up to make a move. They just need to make it for a legitimate starter, preferably a guy who can create his own shot.
Suns get: KAT, DAR
Wolves get: Rubio, Ayton, protected 2022 1st
Warriors get: TJ, Baynes, Cam Johnson, top 8 protected 2020 1st

Aren't you excited to get an injured player that hasn't played for 20 straight games? He'd fit right in on the injured reserve.

I’m only half joking.
It would take a lot more actual value from the Suns end to pull that off and I don’t think James Jones has the balls to do it.

No thanks. Can you imagine if you do all that and they still don't win? Because none of those players have won in their career. It's like signing up for FoE on steroids.

You’d say no to a D-Lo/Book/KAT team up? Now defense would be pretty awful, but that has the makings of the best offense in the nba.

Can’t disagree that would be a possible outcome. But if it worked with the 3 amigos, and there’s a significant chance it would, it would be a lot more fun than anything from the past 10 years.

I don’t even care about D-Lo, but a Booker/KAT pairing would be devastating offensively. I would take Russell too. He can be a shooter off the ball and then be the primary option when Booker is on the bench.

They should lock up KAT with Ayton and picks.
Trade for Kennard.
We’d have a chance to be the next Spurs. I love Ayton but there needs to be another guy who carries the load who handles the rock and eases things for Book.

Gosh that could happen by Thursday. I'm saying that would be my preference though.

It depends on how much we give up. I know the cap hit is likely to be harsh in a few years, but in the long run we all be dead. The league has become a 2years horizon game, planning for more than that is almost useless except on draft picks.
