Re: Free Agency Thread
C’s need a center. Sign and trade Baynes for someone good, JJ.
Re: Free Agency Thread
Who does Boston have? I tried to see if there was a way to get Hayward, but just don’t see it. Even if you gave Baynes a starting salary of 10 million in a sign and trade and add Okobo, Hayward would have to agree to a 1sr year salary of about 16 million. A 4 year deal at that level could get to like 4/70 with raises. Maybe, but if Hayward just played out this year and pocketed the 34 million, he’d just need to sign a 3/36 deal next off season to match what we could offer in a sign and trade. Assuming Boston would even want Baynes at 10 million. He’s probably only worth about 6. I’m sure we’d have to include some draft pick incentive to get Boston on board.
Re: Free Agency Thread
Thought about Forbes, but what does he offer that Carter doesn’t. I’m not too familiar, he’s small and doesn’t seem to be a pg. He can shoot, can he defend?
Re: Free Agency Thread
Here’s my post draft, pre free agency west rankings...we’ll see how it changes.
1. Lakers
2. Clippers
3. Nuggets
4. Mavs
5. Suns
6. Warriors
7. Blazers
8. Jazz
9. Rockets
10. Wolves
11. Kings
12. Spurs
13. Pelicans
14. Grizzlies
15. Thunder
9-14 are all incredibly close to me and free agency should help sort out which direction they are going. 4-8 is very close to me as well. Have no clue how to rate the Warriors after the Klay news. Could be anywhere 3-8 I think.

George Hill would be pretty solid to add off the bench as a 1/2 who could over bigger minutes if needed. Smart and knows how to play off the ball. Probably couldn't do much better than him in FA if you're looking for a veteran combo guard.

Re: Free Agency Thread
Decent for the 3D role, but we could use one more playmaker guard. Not against the move anyway. Just wondering if something better can be had.
Re: Free Agency Thread
Ya he’d be solid. I’m still hoping for Burks. Think he’s prettt underrated.
Re: Free Agency Thread
No surprise there

I'd prefer Josh Hart, tbh.Ring_Wanted wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 4:02 pmDecent for the 3D role, but we could use one more playmaker guard. Not against the move anyway. Just wondering if something better can be had.
Re: Free Agency Thread
Heat gonna run it back and try for Giannis in 2021..unless he signs that supermax
Re: Free Agency Thread
Probably the better value, but think Hill helps us more next year.Shabazz wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 4:06 pmI'd prefer Josh Hart, tbh.Ring_Wanted wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 4:02 pmDecent for the 3D role, but we could use one more playmaker guard. A lot of money for a guy they benched in the playoffs
Re: Free Agency Thread
Danny Green replacement. Sounds like they got him with their BAE
