The NBA fined James Harden $50,000 but won't suspend him after a video surfaced showing him maskless at a club, in violation of league rules
The video, published by Black Sports Online, reportedly came from a Christmas party in Houston this week. Initially the venue was reported to be a strip club
Harden denied the venue was a strip club, saying it was a party for his 'homegirl'
The All-Star guard has since deleted the instagram post without an explanation
The NBA's COVID-19 protocol prohibits players from going to bars, lounges or nightclubs and from participating in social gatherings of more than 15 people
The NBA has already postponed Houston's opener against Oklahoma City on Wednesday because other Rockets players may have been exposed to COVID-19
Harden is unavailable for the Rockets, but will not receive a suspension

I bought in for a sec because I love Dame and he’s a stud, but Covington alone can’t save them defensively. Think they’re probably the 7 seed. And an off night away from getting bounced in the play in. Of course it’s very early, maybe they figure something out defensively.

They kept saying that it pays 2.8 million but I kept saying to the screen that it’s going to be -$100,000. Charles and Shaq were blinded by dollar signs. Horrible bet. Give the money to charity instead.

I don’t understand what Harden is doing to his career at this point. Who would want to trade for him unless he’s in game shape and looks like he wants to compete. Players shouldn’t be paid if their behavior is a detriment to their team amidst a pandemic. Anytime someone is being a jackass, causing alterations, flouting quarantine rules while making a public display of breaking is just awful.

Surprised no mention of the Pelicans
They looked very solid in Stan's first game.
Utah "bubble offense" that they switched to, more tempo and 3s has been quite the culture shift. It is quite something and it is working for them

I watched the game. JJ went off on a mini stretch and buried the Raps with 6 threes. Lonzo shot it well in spots. I don't have much faith in the Bledsoe-Ball backcourt long term but we'll see how Stan makes it work.
