Speaking strictly from a basketball/business perspective tho he is a very good shooter from 3 and plays alongside traditional centers and can help a bit with the rebounding so he would seem to be a more natural target, especially if a first were on the table. I like Batum but like Bobster said a lot of these scenarios are not super realistic. I like Gordon but can’t really see anybody stepping up with a first to trade for that contract.

Almost ban-worthy.

Right?! What has gotten into pickle? Trolling us hard out of nowhere! I’ve got to believe his account has been compromised.

Re: 2022 Trade Deadline Talk
Even Morris would want to ban him for suggesting being traded back to the Suns.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.
Re: 2022 Trade Deadline Talk
Is Isaac still unvaccinated? Is he able to play even if he were healthy?

Re: 2022 Trade Deadline Talk
You don’t have to be vaccinated to play. That’s only in New York, San Francisco, and Toronto…and only applies to the home team in New York and San Francisco. I’m pretty sure this is the personal reason Justin Jackson did not travel to Toronto.
Isaac did recently have a Covid infection when he said he wasn’t taking the vaccine. Beal said the same thing and has since gotten the vaccine. Isaac said he’s not against vaccines, just didn’t think it was the right choice for him at the time. Not supporting his statement, just pointing out he left the door open to getting the vaccine down the road.

Schroder is a talent, but he seems to have difficulty grasping team-oriented concepts ...no thanks ...
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Just doesn’t make sense unless we’re also sending Payne elsewhere. CP3 did play with Schroeder in OKC, so if he was for it, I might jump on board, but right now I’d pass.LazarusLong wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 10:00 amSchroder is a talent, but he seems to have difficulty grasping team-oriented concepts ...no thanks ...
Re: 2022 Trade Deadline Talk
Morris is the exact type of player that would be fantastic on our team, for all of the reasons you said. But that muthafucka better never be on our team again.pickle wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 5:57 pmDon’t get me wrong, I hate him and the FOE shit and don’t want the distractions like that Twitter beef with the Jokic brothers. I think our team culture is strong enough handle taking on a mercenary player. I’d rather Ross, he tweeted out Book. Makes me think he’s angling to come over.LazarusLong wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 10:00 amSchroder is a talent, but he seems to have difficulty grasping team-oriented concepts ...no thanks ...
Re: 2022 Trade Deadline Talk
To be clear, he's not a Josh Jackson-type. I'm pretty sure he's a part-time pastor and super religious. He also stood when all his teammates kneeled during the anthem in the bubble. I'm not knocking or defending that choice, but it may rub some teammates the wrong way.

Just listened to the solar panel podcast with Jake Fischer on trade targets, it’s where the Jalen for Schroeder trade came from.
Some interesting thoughts:
Boston does like Jalen.
PJ Washington is available and the big issue there is Charlotte doesn’t want to pay him.
Dorian Finney-Smith is available
Eric Gordon will take a 1st to acquire.

Which team would say no quicker in a trade involving Ayton for Tatum?

Boston…I don’t love Tatum, but you kinda have to do that if you’re the suns. I’d be worried about throwing off chemistry though. Tatum is a ball holder, iso guy. You could trade him later for a massive haul if he doesn’t fit though.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 2:28 pmWhich team would say no quicker in a trade involving Ayton for Tatum?

I guess the fit concerns make it not a no-brainer, but Tatum definitely has more trade value.SunsRIt wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 3:46 pmNo you don’t.Split T wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 2:32 pmBoston…I don’t love Tatum, but you kinda have to do that if you’re the suns.
