Loses by both Memphis and Golden State last night. I will breath better when it becomes statistically impossible for then to be overtaken for best record.

If the Suns go 10-10 the rest of the way Golden State would have to go 19-2 to catch them, Memphis would have to go 19-1, Utah would have to go 23-0.

Ja Morant is such a treasure. Of all the high draft picks I wished we'd gotten, he's #1. I can hardly imagine what a Suns team with him on it would be like. (Probably wouldn't have Chris Paul, but still.)

I remember there being a rumor that draft that we loved Ja and would’ve taken him had we gotten the 1st pick. I remember thinking there’s no way we’d take him ahead of Zion, but that was before we knew James Jones draft strategy. Ja/Booker/Bridges/Ayton would’ve been incredible.

Ty Lue and the guys are just taking it personal when they play the Lakers.

That is super interesting. Even though I would say the quality of officiating has been noticeably better than in years past, maybe due to some of the changes on drawing fouls, I still think consistent officiating is the single biggest concern the NBA should have.

Especially in the playoffs. And the interesting thing is that only their "best" even get to call those games. It makes you wonder...

The Pelicans are going to keep LA out of the playoffs I think…of course LA is probably keeping themselves out, but just in case they thought they could sneak in, I don’t think they can beat New Orleans in the play-in.
My best guess is the Clippers will get 7(especially if PG and/or Kawhi come back) and Minny/NO will play for 8th. If PG doesn’t come back then I could definitely see Minny snagging 7 and LAC/NO fighting for 8.
Honestly we should get a pretty good 1st round matchup. I was a little worried about LA turning it on at the right time, but at this point I don’t think that can happen. Think we’d cruise through a Laker series…they just aren’t that good. I don’t see a PG and or Kawhi led team losing a play-in game vs Minny, so if we’re getting LAC, it’ll be the current form.
Minny and NO are formidable game to game, but don’t think they could win 4/7 from us. Zion coming back would make things interesting, but I doubt that happens.

The Lakers get the best refs in the game, yet still piss and moan every time a foul call doesn’t go their way.

The TWolves are rolling right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they catch Denver for the 6th seed.

They’re still 2.5 back of Denver and Denver has also been playing well and should get players back soon. I’d be pretty surprised if anyone of the top 6 in the west drops out.

While watching some of the Warriors/Lakers game tonight, I had a tough time figuring out which team I was rooting against.

Haven't seen the highlights but curious how Bron drops 56, obviously he's capable but I always wonder what the opposing coach was doing especially as the poor play of most of the Lakers not named LeBron been the story for weeks.
Either way I think it says more about the Warriors struggles who have now Lost 8 of 10.....
Now this
Kerr already starting the Resting so yea I'm gonna say Grizz a lock for #2

If the Warriors drop to #3, they will probably face a noticeably tougher 1st round playoff opponent. Say, the Nuggets (with Murray and Porter back) instead of the George/Kawhi-less Clippers or T'Wolves.
