Neither should be in the Hall.
They're both better than Reggie Miller, so there is precedent.
I'm not a huge Reggie Miller fan or anything, but at least he had a case to be considered the best player at his position when Jordan played baseball. I think he should be in, especially when considering the low bar for the basketball HoF.

Miller never made it higher than 3rd team All-NBA. He was a great shooter and a compiler because he had a long career. Very borderline inductee.

And he has really dumb Wendy's commercials.

3x All-NBA and 5x All-Star is more of an achievement than quite a few guys in the basketball HoF. He also held the record for the most 3-pointers in a career when he retired.

Covered that already.

He wasn't as good as Clyde Drexler though. And yes, there are plenty of borderline candidates in the Hall - Mitch Richmond, the proliferation of Europeans [Sarunas Marčiulionis, Toni Kukoč, etc.], and practically every player from the 1960s Celtics [Frank Ramsey and K.C. Jones for example] - but I don't think that's a good reason to keep adding more.

Reggie looks better in hindsight though…his advanced numbers are very good…he was a modern 3s and ft’s player playing in the 90’s before they fully understood the benefits.

I also don't mind factoring in "memorability" when you decide whether somebody should be in the HoF. If you were an NBA fan in the '90s, Reggie was a force. He was a great player, but he also had a huge personality and would loudly tell you how he'd just beat you. His famous showdowns at the Garden, talking trash with opponents and fans alike, are really memorable. His game where he scored 8 points in 18 seconds or whatever to beat the Knicks is an all-timer. I'll never forget Reggie, and I would rather have guys like him in the Hall than, say, Mitch Richmond or guys like that who may have more stats but were a huge yawn and aren't that memorable.

The event of my Friday night was watching the 4th quarter and OT replay of Nets/Bucks. It made me more confident in my recent analysis that Milwaukee and Brooklyn are the best in the East.

Durant hit a ridiculous 3 pointer and converted a fastbreak alley-oop to put the Nets up 9 with about 3:30 left in the game. Several brain farts later by Bruce Brown and Nic Claxton and the Bucks still pull out the victory minus Kris Middleton. Lost in the sauce will be how Durant still nearly won the game for the Nets in OT, Holiday vs. Kyrie is a fascinating matchup to watch, and Giannis is still nearly impossible to officiate in clutch moments.

I hope they meet again in these coming playoffs.

You're always in the future. I could really use those Powerball numbers for tomorrow.

Most might not be paying attention to a Pistons v Thunder game but this happened last night. Usual tankathon shenanigans but with these two factors...

1)

2)

So lots of upset ppl last night, the regular fan (Oklahoma) were blindsided and the betting fans have to be super annoyed with that Casey move.
Interesting 🤐🤦🏾‍♂️

Maybe that’s why we’re resting 3 starters on Sunday.

I get that Durant and Irving are scary. But these guys are now down in 10th place in the East and may barely scrape their way to a playoff spot. They might not even get out of the play-in. People are picking the Nets to come out of the East?
