How bad is Dario that Monty won’t even play him in garbage time?

Survived an off, off night from Booker with a great game by Bridges and a host of bench guys contributing. This is a positive sign.
Go Suns!

Booker's stat line doesn't look great, but Willie Green threw EVERYTHING at him tonight. Considering all that, he didn't do too bad. And it gives Booker and Monty film to study if another team wants to try this.

We can't trade him yet. He was also injured tonight. Wish he'd attack the rim on the P&R like Landale and Bismack.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Guess we still good

I think it's more of a respect thing. He's the veteran type of player that he's not going to just throw out there to get him minutes in garbage time.Wally_West wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 9:28 pmHow bad is Dario that Monty won’t even play him in garbage time?

Yeah enjoyed this one cause as others said we had a nice flow without Book having to carry us cause the Others were $$
Happy for Cam P, long may it continue
Gonna be a broken record on Torrey again, but worth repeating lol. Once he doesn't try his isos or I'll advised fast break drives, his offensive rebounding and general hustle plays are fun to watch especially with the timely 3s

So you’re complaining that he had a great game?Wally_West wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 8:58 pmI swear, Mikal always blue balls me into thinking he can become a true multiple all-star player and a proper running mate to Book…
And then he comes down to earth and becomes mid in the playoffs outside a couple of games.![]()

I don’t get why you guys think it was so weird. They were double and triple teaming him. His only choice was to give up the ball. When he didn’t, he didn’t get great shots.

Turned it over too much. Defense was bad. Got caught ball watching a bit and just didn’t seem aggressive. I know they were doubling him, but just thought he’d handle it better

Just finished watching the game on DVR; had to put the kids to bed and such. Nice win! Pelicans are a tough matchup for us, so I was really happy to beat them.
Guys, ... do we have a ... good bench? Can that be possible? I thought our bench was absolute garbage tier? But they're actually kind of good...? So many great contributors off the bench tonight. Payne, Craig, Landale, Lee, Biyombo.
But tonight was the Mikal Bridges game. I love seeing all the drives to the basket and comfort level with dribbling and initiating offense. That is huge for him. It opens up so much for us and makes us way less dependent on CP3 and Book to generate everything. I think it also makes Mikal more comfortable and warmer so that when he does get looks, he shoots better. He's been smart about taking open corner 3s and making them at a pretty good rate. And his defense tonight was exceptional as usual. Great all-around game for him. On the broadcast they mentioned how he's the current ironman league leader in games played without missing a game due to injury. They pointed out that he'd have to play until like 2032 to catch AC Green's record, LOL. Good luck with that one.
Pelicans shouldn't hang their heads over this loss. They were missing 2 of their best players and still played us close for most of the game. They are a talented team. Few teams in the league with more young talent or a brighter future than theirs.

He’s not wrong but I blame Manu Ginobili who obviously isn’t American.

Every time I see clips of Book doing his pregame dribbling routine I smh even more

Lol
Obviously Jack isn't really trying but Book just gets the ball knocked away from behind too often and it's clearly a focus point of his

Lots of trademark Mikal buckets last night, (cuts, fast breaks and 3s) but two plays for me....
The no look leading the break to Cam was great
The 1on1 move at 63 - 60 is

. If we start to see those plays more often we're on to something
