Artificial intelligence (AI)
Re: Artificial intelligence (AI)
A lot of people I know are afraid ai is going to replace a lot of jobs. I think that is great if we are on the Andrew Yang plan. Maybe he’s just a few years ahead of his time.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.
Re: Artificial intelligence (AI)
Some companies are replacing support and sales reps with AI bots. That will sort of work up to a point, but people get really frustrated if they realize they're just talking to a bot. IMO it should augment existing human support staff where maybe it triages initial questions but then you get to the real person, much like a telephone menu with options to route you to an agent.

OK, is it just me or does this sound absolutely awful? Haha.
Re: Artificial intelligence (AI)
Jon Stewart did a segment on AI.

You gotta admit though that drumming was pretty bad. No touch from Mr. Robot. He sounded like the worst high school drummers.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

LMAO, this cracked me up.
Re: Artificial intelligence (AI)
Big news: "Open" AI, supposedly a non-profit AI company created for the good of mankind or whatever, has just declared itself a for-profit company. And its founder, Sam Altman, is set to grant himself billions of dollars of shares of equity in the company. Predictable but disappointing. There's just too much money to be had, you knew they couldn't resist it.

It hasn't been in any doubt for a few months now. It's really M$FT running things there now.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 2:42 pmBig news: "Open" AI, supposedly a non-profit AI company created for the good of mankind or whatever, has just declared itself a for-profit company. Re: Artificial intelligence (AI)
Nobody is turning down billions to help us regular folks. Lol.
Love, Hurts.
Re: Artificial intelligence (AI)
If someone wants to give me billions, I’ll happily give 95% of it away to the regular folk
Re: Artificial intelligence (AI)
Billions? I’ll happily give 99% away to the regular folk. Why do I need more than tens of millions?
