I love Trae and would go all in on him. He's a baller who steps up when it counts. You can scheme to hide him on defense.

His play this year doesn’t concern you?

And I think you can hide him against some teams, but can you imagine what Luka would have done to him last year?

Stars have down years - I think he's a guy who's frustrated with his coach and org. People thought Book was shit 4 years ago; it happens.

And no one on our team stopped Luka in the playoffs. It was a bad scheme with no adjustments. I wouldn't expect him to guard Luka. That should fall on Mikal, Book, Okogie, Lee, CamJ, TC.

Well Luka just picked his defender, he’d pick Trae if that was an option.

And this isn’t just people not thinking Trae is good. Everyone knew he was good and he’s taken a step back. He seems like a guy that wants the ball and is unwilling to play without it. Not someone I really want to bring in.

These trade scenarios that have us adding significant draft capital for players taken after Ayton in the ‘18 draft (Trae, SGA) are so depressing.

If we landed Wemby somehow I would definitely not trade for Trae
You would not want Trae with Wemby or you mean you wouldn't trade Wemby for Trae? This seems obvious, but just asking for complete clarification.

I don’t think I would trade for Trae if we got Wemby…I definitely wouldn’t trade Wemby for Trae.

If we had Booker/Bridges/Wemby, I’d want another playmaker on the floor, but not one that is as ball dominant as Trae.

I'm not sure that Trae would be as ball dominate with those guys. He might play more of a Nash type role of distributing and getting everyone involved. Just my thought.

His play this year doesn’t give me confidence there…anyways I’d rather they not have a nash like guy who does all the distributing.

I heard it during the game and laughed. What starters? You mean all one of them?

How would that be?
Going 3 on 5 the rest of the way, or forfeiting because you want to rest your starters ?

Maybe that was what happened on the closing minutes versus the warriors, they were stealth playing 4 on 5...

I heard it and thought he was attempting a joke. I think they followed it up by talking about how they were shorthanded.

No you really can't.
