Sure, since you asked. I don't think the rebounding was as bad as it looks in the box score this time. For the most part, he did a great job boxing out Adams and letting his teammates get the rebound. He let him slip around him for a couple offensive rebounds, but some of Adams' o-boards were when Ayton defended a shooter (yes, he actually defends shots and alters them, without blocking them into the stands--what a concept!), and as always when that happens, nobody put a body on Adams or grabbed the rebound.
The real story was the 3rd quarter collapse, in which we had:
Bridges 3-11 FG
Ayton 2-3 FG

I’m not even sure that’s right…basketball reference has him at -10.5, so much much worse. We are a -5.0 when he’s on the court this year and a +5.5 with him on the bench.

That's so bad, but I didn't need a fancy graph to tell me the 4th-12th players on the roster aren't good enough to lead the team to a bunch of wins.

Last I checked, 22-16 = 6 isn't 50% of 16. But yes, he played him an additional 6 minutes.

Last I checked, 22-16 = 6 isn't 50% of 16. But yes, he played him an additional 6 minutes.
I thought the TNT broadcast said 15 was his limit.

Cam Johnson was at my kids’ high school last night. Watching his little brother that play for Pinnacle.

One of the guys I run into at work a lot has a son on Pinnacles team. Says Cam is always there and is really a nice guy- to nobody’s surprise

Is it true that Mikal Bridges has been "starting at point guard"? I thought D Lee was our de facto PG in these janky lineups.

Well we’re not really starting a pg, but Mikal runs more offense than anyone else, so I guess it’s him…though he’s running more of the Booker role I’d say. But the point Book role. There’s no one playing line CP3 does when he’s out there.
