Dario Saric played a great overall game, using his high bbiq to overcome his plodding lack of athleticism. You can have him out there in crunch time and totally trust him to make good decisions. The Suns need guys like that.
What are you talking about, he led two fastbreaks in a row!
He played much better than our two centers. Perhaps he should be starting while DA is out.
Hopefully, DA is back for the next one.

If DA was in the Grizz could’ve scored 73 in the first half too!
That was almost an epic collapse.
Phew

A tale of 2 halves. The Grizz announcers crying about the officiating all game took away from enjoying the first half as much and definitely made the second half harder to watch. All the tears yet 2 of our players fouled out and another had 5 fouls.

Ah. Poor announcers. I watched the Suns broadcast but recorded both. I think I’ll enjoy hearing the Grizz announcers whine in a loss.

I'm sure they were livid about the foul called on Ja Morant at the end without admitting that he benefits from the same call 3-5 times a game.

Whew !! Suns Win !
I think dead legs kicked in during the third quarter. Just damn glad the Suns held on and won.

I'm more than fine with this. Need more of them waving him off and playing at their pace handling the ball. CP's gotta start taking that backseat instead of controlling every possession.

They did complain about it…though they did catch themselves on the replay and admit Morant didn’t exactly go straight up.
I get that the announcers are biased because they literally work for the team, but it is still annoying when they become fans in their commentary. Maybe I just don’t hear it because I’m also biased, but I don’t think the suns guys get too fan-like in their commentary. EJ has always been willing to call people out at times.

Yes, I think they need the reps at handling the ball under pressure so that we don't over-rely on CP3. But nevertheless Mikal had a really bad possession near the end of the game where he dribble-dribbled for about 15 sec and then drove into traffic, leading to a few bad passes and a turnover. So I don't think they should overdo it with the ballhandling either. Make the right play. In many cases that means, pass the ball, move the ball.

I agree with this except for like the final minute of a close game you want CP3 to have the ball in his hands. He didn't even touch the ball for about a minute before their final possession out of a timeout.

He was being double teamed. The others need to be able to step up in these cases.

On the last possession he was double teamed, and made a great pass that led to finding the open man for two free throws (Saric). I'm talking about the two possesions before that where CP3 never touched the ball.

I think it was mostly to avoid Dillon Brooks who was pressing CP3 full court. They just let Mikal bring it up uncontested

Yeah I don't have a problem with somebody else bringing it up but after getting into the forecourt I would prefer they get the ball in Paul's hands to make decisions in crunch time.

I think we all would if it could be done safely. That was the problem.
