This is their 6th loss by 25 or more points this year.
Was just going to mention that. And there were the 2 last year against Dallas...

This team is an inevitable first round embarrassment as it stands now. We'll see if Jones can do anything in the next week to change that because Booker returning isn't going to prevent this from happening again when it's even more important.

I just want to point out that the only notable roster change we’ve seen since summer is D. Lee and Landale. Consider that with the fact that Crowder has sat out this season untraded, and all the injuries to Book, Cam Johnson, CP3, and Payne, and Shamet. This team is a goddamned joke. This season is on JJ. And I don’t care about Sarver.
They didn't really do anything to address the problems from last year and they havn't done anything to address any problems this year unless you count Saben Lee.
Hahaha Saben Lee is a basketball player who can dribble the ball. Well done. A year ago we were scratching our heads whether JJ was going to bring in a 3rd guard as our backups sucked. Then the playoffs happened and as expected our bench was dog shit. Then next to nothing happened this summer. It’s insane. JJ actually lost a starter to sit out the season or half of it. He went from a great GM, to practically the worst.

Meh, Booker only played in 3 of those games and that’s just the nature of the 3 point era. You miss your 3s and you’re gonna get blown out. 4 for 28 vs 19 for 33. That’s a 45 point swing.

I only have one positive thing to say about this game.
Ayton was solid. I had no complaints with him tonight.

He was never a great GM. CP3 forced his way to Phoenix, and he got lucky with Cam Johnson. He hasn't done shit but hope g-league workout for the team.

Turned this one off in the 3rd. No one had any juice last night, we were playing at halfspeed and it seemed like the Hawks were too except they were hitting all their 3s. It just never turned on for us and we couldn't keep up with their shooting.

Second unit was underwhelming in the first half, when the Hawks started growing their lead.
No dependable scoring from this unit. None.

This was a super frustrating game. We've had a ton of injuries all year, yes. But at this point we're mostly just missing Book. I know that Payne and Shamet are also out, but Book is really the only crucial missing player. We shouldn't be getting blown out by 30 just because Book is sitting out. I'm fine with a loss here and there, and the Hawks are a pretty good team. But the overall effort we put out last night was just pathetic.
You could really feel Chris Paul's decline in this one. He just seemed so lethargic and did almost nothing the whole game. He's supposed to be our second-best player, or at least he used to be. Now we don't know if we can count on him for anything game-to-game. And we have a lot of other guys like Craig who could get you 15-18 points in a given game but are just as likely to give you 4-5 points instead.
Mikal's improvement on offense has been great to see. But you can really feel the lack of scoring punch on this roster without Booker. It makes us way too easy to defend and shut down.

Bridges has gotten really good at feeding Ayton in the paint, that is my positive takeaway from this game.

i don't expect CP to have it everynight at this point, but it looked like TC, Cam and DA were dragging too. We're definitely lacking some firepower even with Book and it seems like Monty might go back to starting Cam but keep him playing with the bench for some offense.

Another night where the fans were treated to the Globetrotters vs Generals.

Now that I had a night to sleep on it, I don’t feel as bad about the loss like I did last night. Looking how it played out, if we just scored more points than them, I think we could’ve won.

Don't forget about our guy Saric. He has been back to his old self the last 15 games or so.
