I'm not quite as sold. The Kings and Grizzlies will be tough to put out. I can definitely imagine both series' being long.

I just don’t know how the Kings defend the Warriors. Sabonis defending a pick and roll with Curry as the ball handler sounds like a nightmare for Sacramento.

And I just don’t think I’m as sold on the Grizz. I think they are a bit of a fake 2 seed. Especially without Adams. They can defend and they are a terror in transition, but if you can keep them in half court offense, they are simply not very good. GS can get turnover prone, but if they take care of the ball, the math will favor them and they’ll win.

Of course I could be completely wrong. GS has been awful on the road all year and they’ll have to win multiple games on the road against good teams to advance that far. What they get from Wiggins is big too. They need him as a defensive stopper and as someone who can create his own shot when needed.

Golden State is getting by on reputation alone these days. GS had a better winning percentage without Wiggins (25-20 according to Statmuse: https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/warrio ... ggins-2023 and 19-18 with. - https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/warrio ... ggins-2023).

They won't be able to just turn it on, have been terrible on the road, and will play all playoff series without home court advantage. Sacramento is better than they are being given credit for.

My point was I didn't take them seriously at all without Wiggins and GP2, but now they're in the group of 4-5 teams in the West who could win the conference.
