Oso has a future in the league if he can bulk up.
Not sold on Dunn.

The bench this year is so much more interesting and full of personality. Thank God I don't have to see EG out there.
Oso
Dunn
DLee
Even Gillespie is interesting.
Really hope Frank makes the team. I would suspect he'd take Plumlees minutes.

I really like the bench mob, especially Oso and Dunn. Love these guys. They have the vibe of a (much less good) version of Mikal/Cam in terms of being two young athletic forwards, both great defenders, and buddies. They're good and they're fun to root for. Every team needs rookies.

Good to see our guys in action and any win against the Lakers is a good one. Pretty much your typical preseason game with some good, some bad, some ugly. Our Big 3 shot a combined 9-29 and the team shot 44% from the field. Still, we shot 41% from 3 with 39 3s taken, which is a big improvement from last year's 32 3s/game. The way the ball was moving tho, if we're hitting shots we should be tough to beat. Allen and Royce were both off and we'll need them finding their spots in the offense and knocking down shots. Defensively we're going to be giving up size every night so the shots will have to fall.
Felt really good seeing us play with a PG on the court most of the game. Tyus ran the team, organized things and gave us the steady ballhandler we lacked last year. He's not CP but he's still as solid as they come. Morris was steady too, keeping the offense moving and not giving the ball away. Some nice plays and offensive wrinkles from Bud, more creativity with the sets and I'm sure there's more to come. They're not going to show everything in the preseason.
Dunn and Oso looked really good. Neither looked overwhelmed or out of place at all. Dunn was thrown right into the mix guarding LBJ and did a good job. He's probably giving up 20-25 lbs so you figure most defensive assignments will be easier going forward but the speed, athleticism and physicality were all there defensively. The 3pt shot looked good too and he wasn't hesitant - just has to keep defenses honest.
Oso fit in real well, pretty much playing the same as summer league - high post passing, good screens, backdoor passes to cutters, some finishes at the rim and a nice push shot in the short roll area. Still wish he'd be more physical on the boards and at the rim defensively.
We gave up a lot of point in the paint, maybe Nurk will help fix that but we're still lacking bulk, especially at the 4 spot. Just going to have to stay solid defensively and knock down shots.

You get an inch or two if you lose enough weight tho.

A few other thoughts - as of right now it looks like Bol and Bridges are outside of the rotation. Not unexpected, maybe Bol gets more opportunities. Bridges looked out of sorts on offense but hopefully he picks it up. Frank may be a good big to keep on the roster. He and Oso could form a nice duo at the 4/5 similar to when Dario was on the team but also not something you want to rely on. That's IF we think Frank can take some backup PF minutes as a stretch big.
Jones, Beal, Book, Allen, Royce, Dunn, KD, Nurk, Plum/Oso are prob the rotation right now. Okogie looked good but he can also disappear on offense. There may be a minutes squeeze on Morris in the backcourt. Looks like Dunn may be our backup 4?
