Brunson is nothing like Luka. Doesn't foul bait. Doesn't complain. He's a tough son of a bitch
He's actually the son of Rick Brunson, who was a benchwarmer for the New York Knicks back in the day. Honestly? He probably bitched about it, too.

Royce O'Neale feels like he's almost single-handedly keeping us in this game. Down 11, signs of life.
Just the last breath before dying.
I feel like that was almost my granddad last night, but he's still here!!

Damion Lee is probably a good locker room guy but he's just not an NBA player anymore

I want Damion Lee to make it back from his injury setback. But we put him out there in garbage time and he just lays brick after brick. I don't even want to know his shooting percentage on the season. I don't think we can play him any more.

Well, we did once employ the services of Eric Piatkowski🥹🥹🥹

I would like Josh Hart on our team - tough, versatile and just seems to do the little things well that you need role players to do (defend, rebound, pass, hit open shots)
Obviously not going to happen, but just musing..

Turned this one off early, knew where it was headed. We're just no match for a team like this without one of KD and Beal. And we're probably not beating them with just Book and Beal either. Just looking at the boscore, not sure why Plum and Oso didn't see more minutes. Thought they'd match up better with KAT. Morris might've been a better defender to slow down Brunson. Feels like Bud is still grasping at straws and can't figure out who to trust, which buttons to push.

Without being too negative and knowing we're missing KD and Beal, we still shouldn't look so bad or flat to start games. But it's not really a great mix of talent and there still doesn't seem to be a ton of chemistry overall with this group. I'm sure if you took Brunson and KAT off the Knicks, they'd lose a bunch of games but they'd still play hard and play together. You don't get that with this group. It's one thing to be missing offense, it's another to give up 140 pts on 60% shooting with guys who have defensive reps like Royce, Dunn and JO.

I was at the game and got there pretty early. Everyone finished their warmup for both teams and left for the locker room except Plumlee, who kept shooting for an extra 15 minutes by himself and some ball boys. He was also the first one warming up at the end of half time by several minutes. Just an observation.

I don’t go to many games but a buddy called with tickets. That was one quiet arena except for the NY fans. Our defense is Swiss Cheese right now.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

It’s just the perfect storm of bullshit.

Not just injuries to KD and Beal but multiple role players, Grayson, Nurk(who now has both ankles injured, Dunn have missed time.

Multiple b2bs in schedule of playoff teams besides the Jazz.

This shit ain’t surprising. I wish they showed more juice defensively early and in the 2nd half last night they did but they just don’t got the fire power to make big comebacks and sustain them.

It’s November and our hot start gave us some cushion so I ain’t too worried. It could be worst, we could be the sixers haha.

Also since both Nurk’s ankles are fucked up now, just sit his ass for week or two. Especially with KD and Beal coming back next week most likely. Sign Frank for a 10 day. He already been sucking no need to make him suck harder cuz of injuries. Let him get some time off so he can return to his normal mid ass self.

I only watched the 2nd half, but Nurk played ok last night…well offensively…he was a bit of a turnstile defensively
