Ishbia has to be pissed after spending all this money for this no effort, out worked every night team.
Dogs are gonna be $12 next game.

This team isn’t built for these new rules. They don’t get the benefit of calls, so the players have to play harder and then they get injured. Just keeps playing over and over again.

Can Butler really even save this team? They look beyond hopeless.
No. They're gonna need more than that but a heart transplant would be a good first step.

Ishbia’s never really been one to just sit on his hands. I only hope we can make some much needed changes sooner rather than later. I know the trade deadline is only a month and a half away, but that sure feels like an eternity with this current squad.

No fire...Jimmy might actually help. They overcommitted with Beal...and the mix is putrid. They made some good moves...but the X factor isn't there. I think a Butler transplant might be worth the risk...they need some heat.

This team hasn't got it. That 13-3 record when KD plays is going to look very quaint in a month or so. There is just absolutely no way that this team is a contender or even close to it, and you get the sense that the players know that. They just don't give consistent effort or play the right way. Iso-ball on offense, lackadaisical defense. Of course we get stomped so much.

I don't even think this team is a Jimmy Butler away from being a contender. Unless somehow Butler gives the entire team a personality transplant, he can't come in here and save us. Giving away assets like the 2031 1st to get Butler will just be doubling down on this losing hand.

Mori...sometimes that one player matters...I think you're right that there's a...lack of confidence. Jimmy would impact that...and would leave a better starting player mix on the floor, which is part of the confidence thing...

I feel like we're just rehashing a lot of the same arguments that were made to justify the KD trade, and look how that's turned out. As Mori said, this team is more than one player away from being a contender right now and giving up anything more than Beal to get him is ludicrous.

Yep, there is no easy solution. We are not getting our bang for our bucks. We are stuck in mediocrity hell. This team just doesn't have it.

I'm not stopping at Himmy.

I'm trading Nurk and Grayson.

We know this team isn't right. Ishbia is a winner he understands it. We're not going to just be complacent to live with a losing hand.

Yea im at that point too…. This team is beyond one guy coming in and fixing things; especially if they all can’t stay healthy on the court and you’re forced to rely on league minimum players to carry the team. Booker getting hurt I think is going to start something.

I see it falling like this….

Booker goes first who’ll bring back a decent haul to begin our rebuild.
Then KD.. who’ll bring more assets. Could see him going back to OKC to run with the kids.
Then Beal… who’ll we’ll prob have to pay to dump or buy out.

What’s the alternative? Just keep this team? Ishbia isn’t going to blow it up, it’s gonna have to blow itself up. Butler would at least shake things up.

Time to speed up Jimmy Butler trade deadline. No mid to late January until we revisit and decide if we really want to do a deal shit Gambo was saying. Time to start making it happen now.

Book is probably out a month with his penis injury from last night because the same damn penis injury kept him out a month last year. Literally around the same time too smh.

We can’t survive a whole month without Book with a disinterested/unmotivated Brad, leaving KD out to dry. The vibes are clearly off. Time for a shakeup. Trade Nurk emotional’s ass too.

Getting a Jimmy deal done should be priority so we can know what kind of draft assets we got left to work with for other deals.

I really don't buy that this team is fixable. You trade for Jimmy, who is a bulldog and a good defender and leader. Okay. But I get the sense that he's more of the "yell at your teammates for not getting back on defense" type of leader. I don't think our guys will snap to it and play good defense just because somebody's barking at them. We just don't have the roster for it.

You want to make more moves on top of Jimmy? Okay, you want to trade Nurk? For what? Jonas V? Marginal upgrade if any, and they'd want assets in return. You want to trade Grayson Allen? For what? We can't combine his salary with any other players, and we won't have any more picks left.

IMO this team is past its peak and given the cap and the 2nd apron and the lack of picks until 2031, we don't have the means available to get over the hump. So we should just blow it up and start over. KD will still fetch a ton of picks; trade him to Houston, actually we'll get a bunch of our own picks back for doing that. Trade Nurk or Grayson or Royce, but trade them for younger players and picks. I generally would love to keep Booker, but he probably won't want to be around for such a rebuild, so tell him that if he wants out you'll find a place to trade him that makes him happy.

BLOW. IT. UP.
