Well tomorrow is a new year. Maybe it will be better.
In Australia this game was in 2025 - it’s no better!

I’m gonna go back to the tried and true and blame DA…him being useless made us trade Mikal and Cam and then left us with an albatross that we had to dump for our current useless Center.

Also I think some of you should take my course of action and stop watching this team. Win 3 in a row or make a trade…that’s what it will take to bring me back at this point.
I'm out of state and in the Eastern time zone but I have watched every game this year even though some don't start until 10:30pm for me and last until 1am and I usually have to work in the morning. I have tickets to take our grandson to see them on the 18th when they play the Pistons. He was here for Christmas and asked me who I would be rooting for. I told him to start the game it would be for PHX but that it might change by the end of the game. We have good seats too just a few rows behind the Suns bench. I'll stick around until then but if things haven't changed I'll be stepping away. When is the trade deadline?

I really just wanna see these guys take some real accountability, try hard for more than a quarter, admit that you just can't get by on talent. Something has to change.
Accountability? These guys are professionals, most have played for many years and all are making millions of dollars. It's not like they are just learning how to play or need to wait for someone to tell them what to do. It seems like the ones playing with the most heart and making the most impact are the rookies. It is broke and I don't know if it can be fixed with the crew we have now.

This is probably nitpicking, but can somebody please explain to me the foul call that the Suns challenged(and lost) in the fourth quarter? Okogie goes straight up for a rebound and Jackson jumps into him, but it’s a foul on Okogie? I don’t understand. I thought for sure they would overturn the call, but they didn’t.

We rarely talk about it because of Doncic but how much better is Jackson than Ayton? He kills us every time.

I cost us Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Chis Paul, four picks and three swaps to build this team. I can only imagine what kind of teams we’re going to build when we don’t have so many assets to spend.
It can't be worse, right?

There were just some awful calls. It probably wouldn't make a difference but you never know. How about the foul called on Okogie when Kennard was clearly holding him on a steal and fast break opportunity?

There’s at least 9 guys in that draft better than him:

SGA, Luka, Brunson, JJJ, Trae, Mikal, MPJ, Simons, Sexton…I’d take quite a few more over him(WCJ, Grayson, Divencenzo, Williams, Robinson), but I don’t think there’s an argument for him higher than 10

I just got violently sick reading that realizing how bad it really was.

I'm just saying, if we wanted a big, we took the wrong one.

Imagine if we took JJJ and then traded up for SGA

We’d have created a better version of the Thunder.

It's pretty pathetic how DA has made himself completely irrelevant and useless in the NBA in such a short time. Rarely are so many physical gifts and so much talent wasted so badly. JJJ has become a much better NBA player, for sure.

They whiffed on a lot of high draft picks.

Dad mortgages the house to buy his kids some toys. (Considering his newness to the family, it’s more like stepfather.) He spends every future asset he is legally allowed to spend. Even uses creative accounting to get further into debt than the law was intended to allow.

Kids say, “Yay Dad! He won’t let us not have toys, that’s the kind of dad he is!”

Turns out the kids don’t even like the toys. They looked good in the package, but they’re just not that fun. The kids are talking about how they can trade their toys away and wondering what kind of toys Superdad will get them in the future.

Guess what happens when Dad can’t borrow anymore?

Even if he turns things around — and I understand why the kids love him and want to believe he can, I really do — it makes sense to be skeptical of the future given the history so far.

He is in terms of assets he can use in NBA trades. Not like he can use his personal fortune to buy Jokic. I’ve no doubt he would if he could.
