Is it that this team is too predictable? The opposition knows they want to get a bunch of three-point shots? Do they need to make more cuts to the basket and get to the foul line? Is it lack of size?
Besides injuries (& Nurkic suspension), what needs to be better with this team?

6-16 in last 22 games.
tanking does them no good - they don't control their own picks.

Yeah, everybody knows that. The idea is to tank so that Ishbia and Jones realize what a poor job they have done putting this team together and that’ll make them do a better job of putting the next team together. The Bobster wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 7:26 pm6-16 in last 22 games.

I was watching the bench during timeouts. Everyone seemed disinterested and coach was talking and strategizing and the only ones paying attention were Dunn and JO. Everyone else were just staring off in space like they were in their own world. This team is done.

Well, that's not taking, that's just being a shitty team.Cap wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 7:27 pmYeah, everybody knows that. The offense is shit. The defense is shit. The small on small screening is stupid and leads to doubles or a guard getting a pass rolling into the lane where they're forced to kick it to the corner which the defense is looking for. No one getting downhill to draw a defense in for open 3s, we're basically running 5-out. And we don't push the ball in transition at all so we never get easy baskets.Uncle_Gene wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 7:25 pmIs it that this team is too predictable? I think that first pick is one of the times I mentioned a couple posts before this about no one paying attention. Booker looked checked out also.

At least there's some good UFO / UAP conversation in the General thread that I'm having with myself. Go Suns!
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

So what’s the excuse now? Players don’t have a head coach to blame this time. I guess it’s time to look in the mirror.

I have no idea what happened to Booker but he looks like a shell of himself from that Finals run.

Too much into his shoes and himself. Basketball is not his whole world anymore. Fattened up and slowed down. Not enough care for his body leading to too many lower body strains every damn year leading to a complete loss of explosion

All Suns fans knew they'd get knocked back in the third quarter. They're pretty predictable that way.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 6:14 pmBecause we haven't got our shit kicked in yet and managed to tie at the half against an under .500 team? The bar is so low. Will there ever be a point in time where we have a good lead on any teams? I wish I shared your optimism Split.
