Don't necessarily agree with that assessment of the front office.

JJ may have said that stuff about the draft but we can't argue that he hasn't drafted well lately. Although, he did allow Camara to be thrown in the Ayton deal.

Considering how late he was drafted it’s understandable that JJ didn’t realize what we had. I certainly didn’t.

He looked good in training camp and preseason. He was showing signs.

Umm…the trade happened before training camp.

OK, I obviously don't remember the details but I saw him play with the Suns. Maybe it was summer league.

Yea he looked solid in SL. But even still, we're talking about the 52nd pick out of Dayton. I think some of us were annoyed he was included in the deal but I doubt anyone would've killed the deal over him. It's more a credit to the FO that they identified the talent.

Nah, it makes it look like they just got lucky, not that they identified the talent. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have let him go so easily.

And tonight he helped lead the Blazers to a 53-point win (their largest margin of victory in franchise history—55 seasons) with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks, and 1 steal in only 28 minutes, with a game-high +45 (tying LaMarcus Aldridge’s franchise record)!

Given the very poor draft assets the Suns will have, I'm all for sticking with James Jones, who seems to draft better late than early.
