Even if we get into the 9-10 game, our chances of going 2-0 in the play-in are not good. Getting swept by OKC is pretty much a best case scenario.

Exactly.

I for one think getting swept by OKC would be a great end to the season at this point.
I don't see them getting that far. They can't or they just won't improve on their turnovers. That alone is why they lose most games. They are just kind of...dumb.
Ya, that’s kinda what I meant. If we get swept by OKC, it means we made the play-in and then won two games in the play-in. That’s more than I expect.

That became the Toumani Camara trade too fast

I mean at this point both Ayton and Camara would probably be starting for us and contributing positively. So I think Jeremy has been totally vindicated and the trade was a failure for us.

You don't think even with all his frustrations, Ayton is a better player than Richards?

Not the version we were getting.

The Suns and Ayton were done with each other. He needed to get moved. We got Allen out of the deal which is fine. Nurk was fine last year but things went sour with Bud for whatever reason.
Not to mention we have a rookie who could be on the same trajectory as Camara but he can't get off the bench.

I really don't get the Dunn benching. He's our best defensive player and energy player. I understand his offensive limitations but he had been getting better at driving into the paint and either scoring or dropping it off. And hats off to him for being a great rookie in spite of the benching. He's the first off the bench to celebrate big plays. We're lucky to have him and I think he'll keep getting better and better.

Just saw a stat that the Cavs are 41-0 when leading after three quarters. That look familiar to anyone?

Sounds like they are ripe for a meltdown in the playoffs.

Ooh, and then they trade Mobley for KD?

I went to the Summer League in Vegas and really liked what I saw from Camara and was really excited to see what he could do for us. I'll always contend trading Ayton was the right thing to do, but we never should have thrown Camara in there.

Nobody knew how quickly he’d develop. Turns out Camara is a Polaroid.

Since he has fingers and toes, is he a digital Camara?

When he’s reviewing the recorded games, is he a film Camara?
When he’s hustling, is he an action Camara?
If he develops vitiligo, will he be a black and white Camara?

Too many Cameras will be better than Mikal soon. *sigh*
Him and Ryan Dunn as our main wing defenders
