I'm looking forward to next year, when we somehow put together a collection of hungry young guys that outperform around Booker. Say what you will about James Jones but he's shown a knack for picking up underrated talent out of the lottery. Let him do what he's good at, GET RID OF DURANT for maximal return (less than half of what we gave up for him if we're lucky), and also figure out a way to get rid of Beal.

Durant is a team culture killer. By being able to do what he wants, he undermines any direction the coach might have upon the team. Roll with Bud at least through the beginning of next season with a fresh slate of young guys + the ones that we have that are worth keeping.

If this (at least, a youth movement) doesn't happen -- I might be out after 37 years. I've known some of you guys for three decades and you've never heard me say this before.

A big question is whether James Jones will still be here or not as his contract is ending:

One of the most checked out comments coming from book…. Just not loving his guy anymore.
When did we ever think Devin freaking Booker would ever not want, much less say out loud that he does not want, to play a basketball game? Unbelievable.
I really don't get where you guys are coming from. Must be the Booker hating glasses. Why not play the young guys in a final regular season, no meaning game on the road? Looks like you're reaching for reasons to hate. That's all I can figure.
Yes, that is a completely reasonable decision for the coach to make, but for Booker to either make the decision himself or at least imply that he doesn’t want to play, seems uncharacteristic for him.

But we don't know what preceded that. Maybe he had already had the discussion with coach. I don't think he's going to make that decision on his own.
