Bravo indeed. Was so stoked to add Thomas, its no secret why the Kings are bad year after year.

Yea, It's Point Guardians of the Galaxy and everyone's favorite, Espo, came up with it. Or claims to. It's so generic and obvious, like Double Dragon, that I don't really award him any creative genius points.

Ahh, okay. Thank you for the clarification. I believe I first heard it on the starters but it is really not that inventive so I think nobody really cares who said it first. Personally I like the "slash brothers" a little bit better but that isn't very creative either.

I guess as long as nobody's calling them "the three little P(I)Gs" I am very much fine with it ...

Robert Sarver just apologized to the crowd for the Spurs' conduct.

I can't verify this, but here is a post on how to access the RISE network via a proxy over at RealGM. I still suggest using a VPN, as I think everyone should use a VPN, but here's the link anyway....

Are they streaming all the games?

They've been doing select pre-season games. They couldn't do the one that was on NBATv. The Clippers one next Wednesday will be on ESPN so they might show the Lakers one on Tuesday. They definitely won't do any regular season games.

“We had five guys we didn’t send. Patty Mills had a shoulder operation over the summer. Tiago Splitter (calf) has been out the whole preseason. Kawhi Leonard (eye infection) was out and is still out for 10 more days. The other two, Duncan and Ginobili, are two of the oldest guys in the league who just came back from a 13-day European trip.

“The only thing that surprises me is that he didn’t say it in a chicken suit. I’ll just leave it at that.”
Pop is kind of an asshole.

But Sarver made way to big an issue over a preseason game.

I can't disagree with you there. AFAIK Pop has never once apologized to fans for sitting his guys even though people pay a lot of money to see those players play. That frustrates me a little. He does have the right to sit them in pre-season though, I suppose, even though the league charges near full price for tickets.

He was also right in this case.

If you pay full price for a preseason game you should know what you might be getting.

Last time I checked, San Antonio had a couple more championships than the Suns.

And Pops wasn't the man doing a chicken dance and waving a foam finger a couple of years back.

That doesn't mean that the guy poops gold.

That was a long time ago. Well, I guess it's relative. It could seem like a couple years ago but it definitely was not.

the fact that sarver's stunt pissed pop off makes his stunt totally worth it.

I thought Sarver's move lacked class, personally. I get that the league is a partnership, and it's not fair for one team to hurt others unilaterally by withholding talent. It does seem a bit conspicuous that the Spurs are often pulling these sorts of stunts with games in Phoenix. We're not the only fast team in the league from which they would have to protect veterans. Still, handle this behind closed doors, maybe? Isn't there be some way for teams to handle grievances with each other through the league office?
