I wish Hornacek would have chutzpah to play Goodwin or TJ to see what they could do, even for a couple of minutes.
If anything he should play TJ over that asshole Marcus.
The more I think about that situation the more I think McD should have stepped in. It was probably the right move for the coach to say it was nothing but the front office should have suspended him a game for embarrassing the team on national tv like that.

Uh yeah. That was unacceptable what he did, especially on national TV. What kind of message does that send to the other guys on team, especially the younger guys?

There is only so much you can do when every perimeter player of the other team is doing whatever they want. They are not beating one on one, but through putting our defense in motion until there is a mistake, which doesn't take long to happen.

Yep. Giving us nothing on O and making usual mistakes like loose fouls on rebounds. I've read somewhere that Kieff is good at D, and it is truly mindboggling to me who can someone see that in his game.

Astonishing we're only down by 6 (and it could have been less on that last play)

A few signs of life to end the first half. Spurs still up 49-43. Maybe our young legs and athleticism can run them until they're tired and overtake them in the 2nd half.

Great second Q, we need another rebounder who can play with Len on the floor. Len has done a nice job one on me with Timmy, he's getting roasted when he rotates though.
Love, Hurts.

Apparently we are 4-1 when we score 20 or fewer in the 1st quarter. Let's make it 5-1!

Really don't get the thrashing of Mook Morris in this thread. He's been one of our most productive players off the bench this game...

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

On this we agree 100%

But he can't get mad so often, and the sames goes to his brother. Techs not only mean spare points. Also you and your team end up with a reputation.

Agree. They need to learn to control their emotions. They get techs far too often. If it becomes a problem again, in regards to Marcus getting heated towards coach, I agree. We have a big issue and I'm okay with him riding the pine or getting moved, etc. Some here are wanting to crucify him for it.

Tucker pure hustle. Sorely missed when was subbed. Same with Goran. A three and an and one.

Wahaha Dragic and Tucker taking over. Pops won't have it anymore. Hornace needs to take notes on timeout timming. I've loved everyone the Spurs have taken.
