Apparently, it would have to be after the draft if it were to happen. So, it sounds like the Knicks could wait and see how it shakes out before making a decision. What we should have done with the 7 back in the day when we could have had Igoudala.

I'd do Bledsoe and #13 for the Knicks' #4
Porzingis would be my ideal target of who's likely to be there. We've got to get a difference maker and he's got a chance to be really, really good. We'd get a nice player at 13 but I'd like a bit more

And if Porzingis is gone, would people be ok with Russell?

I would take Russel over Portzingas. Russel is going to be an absolute Stud. I'm praying the Lakers take Okafor and not Russel.

Shedding his salary is fairly important for me too. If we're taking back Calderon or whatever it certainly is less interesting. He's $7M/yr all the way to '16-'17.

Here's the dream scenario

Bledsoe and Tucker to NY for #4.

Zinger/Mudiay at #4....Payne/Turner/Some other nice prospect at #13

That's IF my man D'angelo doesn't fall to 4, which I think if he does no way Knicks trade that pick so...

Bledsoe really doesn't have a bad contract in the scheme of things. I think people more want to see him dealt because they don't they don't want the front office t hinking he is the face of the franchise. Because he shouldn't be.....JMO.

Would people be ok giving Brandon Knight 4/40? I'm thinking his ankle injury last yr could actually benefit us in negotiations.

I think he already turned down an offer of 4/52 (ish?) from the Bucks during last season. There is no way he would take 4/40 from us now.

I think it was 4/48. I just don't see a lot of teams offering him more then that.

Pretty sure Brandon Knight gets the max this offseason, or just a mil or two per year under.

It will be interesting to see what Knight gets offered. On the one hand there's a lot of good guards out there so there's no real need to overpay. But then because it's becoming a guard-driven league in many ways, you must have a decent one.
Who do we think will put a big offer sheet in front of him?

Really?! I don't see how he gets the max. He has never shown himself to be a max player. I don't think he'll get the max. I don't think he'll get as much as Bledsoe. Bledsoe got too much.
