Nice read. I guess Jackson is a pariah now, but had he won it all he'd be considered a guru. Instead that treat goes to Kerr (yet his assistant gets the team to start 23-0). Funny world.

Jackson really tarnished his reputation. I don't think he'll get a head coaching job again for a long time, maybe ever. League execs hated how he behaved at Golden State.

Thanks for enlighten me on the character of Mr. Jackson. Interesting read. After seeing the warriors crush us this week, i dont think any coach could really get this team to anything but mediocrity. So let Hornacek stay in charge as long a he still wants too.

I swear I woke up this morning waiting to see the ticker on NBATV and ESPN Sportscenter saying "Suns Fire coach Jeff Hornacek."
I feel like it's coming soon.

Sean Miller is an interesting name on their. I don't think he'd leave college, but the man can flat out coach and has the personality that would work in the NBA.

i say mark jackson would be a good hire for this team. the guy knows his basketball and the players will go through a wall for him.

Mark Jackson is awful. He's a cheerleader/preacher who should coach college kids. Ask Andrew Bogut what he thinks about Mark Jackson.

What'd he say exactly? And could it be chalked up to him being political and not wanting to hurt his image disparaging a former coach? And maybe Mark and his father are friends. Maybe Steph already knew him personally? Don't know any of those answers but a few Warriors/ex Warriors thought Jackson was kind of joke.

I'm pretty sure Mark Jackson will never get another coaching job just because of his "religious stance" against homosexuality.

That's going to be a big hurdle for him for sure. But just google Mark Jackson and Bogut. Or Mark Jackson and Joe Lacob; Mark Jackson and Scalabrine or Mark Jackson and Jason Collins.
