Not a bad group, but they remind me of the era when Spain had a nice collection of talent overall yet not enough to fight head to head with the real powerhouses.
Their jerseys are always cool tho.

Watch it. It's the rare one game league final and should be a hell of a match.

Any other GFOP's out there pick up the USMNT World Cup Survival Kit?
Nothing screams "Not in the face!" like a knit cap in July.

That's what we all thought, but every player, coach and FO guy interviewed said exactly the same thing while being completely spontaneous and honest: 'we were doing it well, even after their goal, and we had faith that we'd have our chance if we kept going like we should'. That's what Caminero (GM), Cerezo (president), Simeone and some players were answering when asked abut the injuries and the goal againt. They said that, and also again and again that they have one more big game next week.
That means that Simeone has made an indescriptibly great job at motivating his players and building a system and philosophy that runs thorough the whole club, comparable only to what Guardiola did but with the obvious merit of having a roster way less talented and expensive.
This season El Cholo was King Leonidas and his players were the 300. I take my hat off to all of them and as a Real Madrid fan I reckon them as a force beyond typical measurement.

there's uncertainty next year with costa moving to chelsea, but the same thing was said after falcao left. who do you think will be their next goal scoring star?

If Costa goes to Chelsea I could see a return of the Kid. Torres is colchonero through and through and Mou has already let it be known that he doesn't like his current strikers, Torres included. If he accepts a pay cut, he could be back, and I think it is possible with Simeone and the recent success of his team.
If they don't go that route, I guess they'll try to get yet another steal in form of an unknown player, or a rental from a top team. If Real wins the UCL maybe they'd consider sending Morata over, but there are other suitors already, like Juventus.
By the way, Costa is seriouly doubtful for the final but he is not 100% ruled out yet.

It's a shame that the UCL Final has to be overshadowed by the English League 1 playoffs.
Come on Mighty O's!
