Bad for our ping pong balls but happy for the players. You always play to win. Incredible shot by Mirza for the win.

I wouldn't mind winning with the young guys that are part of our future, not ridding the vets hard like we're making a playoff push and everything else be damned.Superbone wrote:Bad for our ping pong balls but happy for the players. You always play to win. Incredible shot by Mirza for the win.
Why is he shooting threes when we're up by three? We don't need hero ball from you, Brandon. You're part of a team.OE32 wrote:The only thing that stunted our growth tonight was Brandon Knight.I don't know how many games like that I can take. If we get one of those games for every Golden State, we'll have no choice but to vote him off the island.
March 6 in the win against Memphis. Len 16, Tucker and Chandler 10 each.Mori Chu wrote:Wow. When was the last time we had 3 players with double-digit rebounding? I'm seriously curious about this.
Agreed on the first point, but regarding the lobs, I absolutely want him to keep trying them on game action. We are in tanking & developing mode, so it serves both purposes. If he actually learns to do it, it would be really helpful for NEXT year to have this already on his belt.EDC wrote:Knight played well last game but I just don't like that he takes the first partially open three he gets off the dribble. He can basically get that shot at any time but he loves to jack it up early in the shot clock.
He needs to stop trying to throwing lobs as well.
I'm still a fan. I wouldn't mind if he ran my team.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Rubio is nobodies prototypical PG, especially in todays NBA. If you cant shoot, youre just a guy. He's a fantastic passer and good defender, but will always be a liability when people sag off him. He just doesnt fit todays NBA game all that well. He's fun to watch, but if he were worth building around, Minnesota wouldnt move him.
It's only because you watch the piss poor decision making of Knight & Bledsoe daily.Shabazz wrote:I'm still a fan. Is not about building around him, but as the complement we need (passing). You are in good shape if you have 3 good shooters in the floor, ideally 4, as your 3&D guy and your center are not specially required to be good at it. If we are thinking that Bledsoe and Knight still have room to develop their passing, we can as well take a shoot on improving Rubio's shoot.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Rubio is nobodies prototypical PG, especially in todays NBA. After the top tier of guys, everyone has their warts.carey wrote:It's only because you watch the piss poor decision making of Knight & Bledsoe daily.Shabazz wrote:I'm still a fan. Sounds crazy but I'm not opposed to taking a REAL point guard. Especially since our point guards are terrible at point guarding. Is that Dunn? Not sure. Only seen him play a few times.Ring_Wanted wrote:Jason Kidd wouldn't score either and his teams worked pretty well. The nice thing about Rubio is that your kids get the best possible shot at developing their game. I've never been a fan of Ricky, but given the composition of the roster and the direction of the franchise, I gotta say I am interested, especially for Bledsoe.
Speaking of PGs, I can't remove the thought that maybe Kris Dunn is the best prospect when it's our turn.
