Read an article talking about possible Bledsoe trades and they mentioned a Bledsoe/Chandler/2018 Miami 1st for Drummond and #12. It got me thinking, draft Jackson at 4, make the Bledsoe trade and draft Mitchell at 12, then try and trade Warren and 32 to move up and draft Kennard.

Guards: Booker, Ulis, Mitchell, Kennard
Forward: Jackson, Chriss, Bender, Dudley, Jones Jr.
Center: Drummond, Williams

I think that team would have elite potential defensively. Shooting could be a concern, that's why I'd try to move Warren for someone like Kennard. You'd also have to trust the long term potential of ulis and Mitchell as PG. I think Booker and Jackson could alleviate some of those concerns.

If Jackson is not available, we could draft Fox or Smith and keep Warren. Maybe add Josh Hart at 32.

I'm not the biggest Drummond fan, but it's still an intriguing team.

Great, what's our identity and style of play?

https://twitter.com/esidery/status/874321732869300224 Jon Isaac is in for a super sexy secret work out. I hear the workout is way too high up on the sexy scale to be made publ---no but seriously these secret workouts are dumb AF. Glad they brought him in though.

Didn't they recently work him out or attend a workout of his in Las Vegas?

Gambo is reporting that Jackson has a promise and he thinks it's from the Lakers.

Gambo is saying Jackson has a promise. He thinks it could be Philly but likely LA. Jackson hasn't worked out for us yet.

I've seen Jackson linked with Philly the most because they want Simmons running point. The Lakers also have Ingram and Randle at the 3/4 right. I get Ingram can be a 4 down the road but not yet. He needs at least 3-4 years to physically mature, if not longer.

So if Jackson goes 2, does Philly take Ball, Fox or maybe Tatum?

That throws a huge wrench into things. Very interesting.

Monk might be their choice too. It could be that they just trade down also, interesting how the draft will go. Lots of options.

I was just coming here to post about the Jackson promise. So I guess he won't be there when we pick #4. Does that mean Ball might fall to 4? I don't want to get my hopes up too much, but if Ball is there at 4, I really really want us to take him.

Wow some really interesting things going on right now. If Ball is available do we take him? Is it possible he falls to 4? I would be really suprised if Lakers didn't take him

I can't handle at least 4 years of LaVarr Ball. I just can't. They are a package deal. You can say they aren't but they totally are.

Apparently Gambo has said Fox will not be working out for us either which is shocking given our history with Callipari & UK players.

He worked out for the Kings but won't come in for us? Weird.

I haven't been keeping up who has worked out for us? Anyone considered top 10?

We do have Bledsoe, ulis, and Knight is still in the roster. Fox probably wants to play and isn't sure he will here

Contract notwithstanding, I don't see Knight as a threat to Fox's playing time.

Yeah, probably agent game. Although I bet if the Suns love him they'll just pick him. Logjam has never stopped the current regime. In this case, I wouldn't blame him as Fox is a terrific prospect.

Also, I hate the news on Jackson. I would absolutely love him alongside Booker.

Ugh don't remind me. I really hope of those three we only have Ulis left at the start of the season. I would rather force Booker to run the offense than waste more time on Bledsoe or Knight.

We were infinitely more enjoyable to watch when they benched all the old guys.
