For me the biggest thing is he’s only played more than 10 min per game once…he’s not playing a lot for a reason…may not be easy to see from a box score, but he’s never been a reliable rotation guy. He’s also 36 and played 71 minutes total last year.

Book just posted a story on his ig of himself. He looks like he lost a lot of weight.
This is interesting, in that they could have Dunn & Dunn?

Dunn and Dunn with the big 3 would be a fascinating lineup.

I don't get the attraction to Kriss Dunn. He's been able to stick around after essentially being a bust as a 5 pick, but he's also not some super experienced veteran with a ton of big games under his belt. 5 career playoff games, not a volume 3pt shooter, hasn't been able to stick around long enough anywhere to really be coveted by anyone. I guess if you need a warm body to bring the ball up and defend the PG position for 15mpg he's sufficient.

I mean we’re talking a vet min backup pg…all the options are going to have warts. Still, he’s played well for the Jazz the last two years…20 mpg, 39.5% from 3(albeit on low volume) and a 4.3/1.3 ast/to. He’s also an absolute elite POA defender.
He’s not a shooter by any means, but he’ll hit them if he’s completely left open(unlike Okogie) and he is much better at dribbling/passing than Okogie. I think he’s a better defender as well.

Which non shooter gets buried in the corner to jack up Okogies?
Obviously Dunn

In all seriousness, I think my previous post answers that…Kris Dunn shot 40% from 3 over the last 2 years. He will make a respectable amount if he’s left open. Ryan Dunn is also bigger and better in the screen and roll role.

Bourguet lists several possible PGs we could go after this summer. If you just want the list, it's:
15. Shake Milton
14. Malachi Flynn
13. Aaron Holiday
12. Patrick Beverley (ugh)
11. Monte Morris
10. Kris Dunn
9. Dennis Smith Jr.
8. Vit Krejci
7. Dalano Banton
6. Reggie Jackson
5. Markelle Fultz
4. Kyle Lowry
3. Delon Wright
2. Cam Payne
1. Chris Paul
I'd love Reggie Jackson or Monte Morris, but I also like Dunn, Payne, and a few of the others. I'd also certainly take CP3, but I really doubt he'd crawl back here on a minimum contract after how we traded him away.

Dunn, Fultz, and Wright would be my top choices. I’d take Payne, Morris, Lowry, or Paul. Pass on Beverley, Milton, Flynn, and Holiday. Reggie Jackson I thought had a PO for more money so I don’t see that happening, but sure if he’s there I take him.
Dennis Smith Jr is interesting. He’s young, athletic, can pass, and defends at a high level…can’t shoot though. I don’t know enough to have an opinion on Krejci…Banton went crazy to finish the season with Portland…not sure what he’d do on a good team though.
