oooh, the Suns now listed with 2nd worst record (i guess they lose/win the tie-breaker with Lakers?)

imo, i'm not sure if the draft order matters any more between 2nd or 3rd, since I might pass on Ball anyway and there's no clear choice

Tie breaker doesn't matter when it comes to ping pong balls. They just split the 2ND and 3rd balls. I think they coin flip for who gets the higher pick if both teams get jumped.

The also flip a coin for the odd ping pong ball, FWIW. (2nd gets 199ppb and 3rd is 156; if they tie it's 178 and 177.)

Sounds painful.

Ball's passing, IQ and all around game is outstanding, ugly shot and all. Exactly what this team needs. Fultz is interesting but just another scoring guard and I don't see the elite athleticsm (although he has nice size for a PG). Defense is a concern. Ball-Booker makes me drool way more than Fultz-Booker.

If Booker continues progressing into that 1A player with takeover ability, I'm fine with Ball. Ball's going to need shooters and athletes around him. He'll make others better and with Booker, plus two young bigs in Chriss and Bender, he could be the guard that elevates all of their games. His shot is a major concern tho.

Fultz-Booker could be a tremendous scoring backcourt tho and with the way the league is going....

hmm, this article points out that "the Lakers' 2017 and 2019 first-round picks are at stake here":
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/lakers-ma ... 14035.html

so even if moving one draft position doesn't necessarily change who the Suns get, screwing up our division rival's pick could be "huge!"
can the Sun's not f this up?
can they lose their remaining games? (for their worst losing streak ever)
don't one or two more players have a sore ankle or back?

it will surely come down to that last game of the season...

I wonder if that is even on McD's radar.

I'm worried about the last two games of the season. I have a bad feeling we win one or both to pass the Lakers in the wrong direction.

Just rest Booker those two games and call it a season.

I like that idea. His ankle isn't optimal anyway.

I'd be with you, but I want to see him pass Kobe on the list for most points before the age 21.

How many does he need? If I remember right, he also has about a week to start the next season before he hits 21.

Apparently, he has to average a little over 15 pts per game to do it, and he may have 1 or 2 games at the start of next year too, if needed. He has 2695 pts so far, and Kobe had 2,755.

Yeah, I was thinking two 30 point games to be conservative and which would allow him to sit the final two games.

Hell, let's see him get 61 in the first half on 90% shooting with at least 5 assists, and 5 rbs with 0 turnovers for his haters out there.

Quick question. Kobe came out of high school at 18. Did he get a full 3 seasons to do what Devin is about to do in 2? He has an August birthday which would indicate he turned 18 right before his first season giving him 3 full seasons.

If so it's really moot to me. Devin was robbed of an entire year. It should be a seasons comparison not an age one.

He did it in 200 games, so I don't think it was 3 full seasons.
