Fyi, I'm in hardcore Covid quarantine in Australia not even allowed to leave my hotel room. Bored out of my mind and jet lagged like you wouldn't believe coming from UK so sleeping all sorts of weird hours. Is the reason I'm in here quite a lot atm and will likely be for four more days yet.

Have to say it feels weird as hell being a prisoner and its not recommended (but I have a nice hotel room - a suite actually - at government expense, so could be worse .. and the NBA is on free to air TV which is great)

If you have Simmons? Turner is a good 3 pt shooter and is a great defensive anchor. He just makes way more sense than Ayton on a Booker/Simmons team. I also added Aaron Holiday coming our way.

Honestly I’m not sure Indy would go for it. Sabonis/Ayton is not a great pairing.

I can see Ayton settings screens to give Simmons an advantage, with Booker being one of the options to kick out the ball (which means ar least one guy completely alone).

Turner dropped off a little this year, still a 35% three point shooter who blocked 2.1 shots a game. Shot 39% last year and blocked 2.7 shots a game. He’s also only 24 still.

Again, this is all in a hypothetical world where we trade for Ben Simmons. I don’t want Ayton and Simmons on the same team. We’d need a stretch 5 in that situation. If you can get Turner and Holiday and already have Booker/Simmons, I’d do it.

As for Rubio, I just don't see anyone able to give us similar production for 9M per (that's MLE range; just not going to happen). With Rubio, we have been top at passing and transition. That is a very solid point. I will concede that.

While trying not to over-react to 8 games... Cam and Mikal look like they can handle the 3/4 for the next few years. We have limited resources, and I think we should be investing it in back up 1/2 and 4/5. There may be nothing out there for Ricky. As INF said, PG is a pretty deep position across the league. Maybe nobody is interested in giving up good things for him at what he is getting paid. I would get that.

You don't think we need a better starter at PF? The kids are holding their own, but in my opinion, adding a player like Millsap, Woods or Ibaka gives the team a lift in comparison to keeping Saric-Baynes.
