I don't really think signing those guys moves the needle much for Houston. FVV is a decent veteran PG but doesn't raise a bad team into a playoff team; just look at last year in Toronto, where he had arguably much better teammates. And Brooks is basically a wildcard, not a guy you bring in and depend on.

I think part of it for Hou is they have to use some cap space to be at 90% of the cap (required by the league).

Wow. I'm not surprised he opted in but I am surprised it is with the goal of being traded. Another batch of Harden to Phoenix rumors in 3, 2, 1...

He also said watch Dallas and Phx for KAT. Silly season is in full swing.

Well it seems Ishbia might want a 4th star, and Book and KAT are still boys, right?
Plus, a Kyrie for KAT deal would seem to make some sense for Minny, but it will feel like Porzingis all over again for Dallas.

I think Dallas has 2 perfect C for Luka now in Holmes and Lively.

I'm hoping the Pelicans exercise the option on Garrett Temple's deal; his salary could prove valuable in completing a trade.

I wouldn't mind Garret Temple. He's a solid bench wing. I have no idea how the Suns could realistically trade for him. They don't even have a draft pick to attach to their TPE.
