LeBron James is not actively recruiting on behalf of the Cavs as the franchise zeroes in on its top free-agent targets, a league source told ESPN on Saturday.

James is spending the weekend in Alabama attending the wedding of Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe. James and Bledsoe share an agent in Rich Paul of Klutch Sports. Paul is also attending the wedding, as are Bledsoe's fellow Kentucky Wildcat alums John Wall of the Wizards, who also is a Klutch client, and DeMarcus Cousins of the Pelicans, among others.

That's enough for all of the regular posters on this site combined to retire.

But lucky for them they're not getting the BK production.

I don't think that is even close, even if there are only 2 regular posters here.

[rant]Take out his agent's cut, and then taxes, and he is probably only taking home 9-10 million. If you want to live off the interest only, that is about right for a person to retire and still live a nice life but not dip into the principle. But not several (or even 2) people.[/rant]

You can probably tell that I spend too much time looking at my stock portfolios and company retirement info too often...

:D Sure, if you want to get technical. I figure I need 2.5M. That's $100K a year if you use the 4% rule.

You don't think a lump sum of 9-10 million is enough for two individuals to retire from???? Ever heard of stock dividends?

I read somewhere that if the Warriors don't trim some payroll along the way their luxury tax payments could be in the neighborhood of $40 million, $80 million and $100 million for the next three years.

Good for Tucker! I'm a little surprised they went with him to put in D'Antoni's system. It'll be interesting to see how he meshes. He sure struggled from 3 in the playoffs with the Raptors.

That's at least worth a million or two. ;)
