Y’all are gonna love this one:
“RFK Jr. once cut off whale’s head with chainsaw, his daughter claimed in resurfaced interview”
Ok, but, you're the one who has repeatedly defended the guy. What do *you* think of it?

Lol, I don’t think I’ve defended a lot of his crazy stuff. And I’m sort of relieved he won’t be on the AZ ballot, tbh.

RFK believes in chemtrails. Sigh. Why, why does anybody want this man running our country?

Here is Kennedy explaining more about his decision and what he was trying to accomplish by trying to reach out to both the Harris and Trump campaigns. He says he was not promised a job, but was trying to make sure some of his concerns such as chronic disease, food, big pharma/government corruption, etc., would be dealt with.

My opinion about his decision to endorse Trump, however, remains unchanged: I am disgusted by the move, and will not be voting for Kennedy or Trump.

There are going to be a lot of BS efforts to subvert the election, aren't there?

Cook Political now rates North Carolina as a "toss-up" which is big for Kamala:

Rolling Stone on Trump / GOP's efforts to steal and subvert the 2024 election. I want the Dems and nonpartisan folks to be ready for this, because it's coming.

It’s Trump. Of course he will lie and cheat. That’s who he is.

More polling. The senate races also look good:
AZSen: Gallego (D) +15
NVSen: Rosen (D) +14
NCGov: Stein (D) +11

Convention bounce. Let's see if it sticks. Best bet is on Trump self-destructing -- and goading him into it has been the single smartest play by the Dems so far.

Interesting article about RFK's appeal. He points out that both of the major party candidates have avoided talking about many issues with any real specificity, and that RFK at least brought up these subjects, which was part of his appeal.

In recent polling, folks seem to consider Walz more "likable" than Vance. I don't think this is the most important thing to poll about, and I don't think it necessarily influences a lot of voters. But I do think it was a blunder by Trump not to pick a running mate who would broaden his coalition and soften his rough edges. The gold standard would have been Nikki Haley, but even someone like Doug Burgum would have been better IMO.
