The only difference is that you don't have to worry about going 40 in the slow lane or people screaming at you because it takes 15 minutes to parallel park.
I would argue that playing A Link to the Past is much better experience than 75% of the games on PS4 or XBOX ONE today. The game was well-thought out, well-designed, and well-executed. No way that more than 25% of games do that today. That doesn't mean that more games did it that way back then, but it is a flaccid example you used above to say that all old-school games are similar to that '45 Chevy.

Old games FTW. Most of the modern games I play are indie retro-ish games inspired by older styles of play, like Link Between Worlds, Shovel Knight, Elliot Quest, Super Meat Boy, Fez, and so on.

Shovel Knight is such a well-executed game. I love it.

You do. I heard about it on a podcast and decided to give it a try. I love it. It is different than the other retro/8-bit style games, in that it doesn't just go the looks route. It really is an incredibly well-designed and executed game. I liked it so much I bought it for both the PS4 and the 3DS.

You've convinced me. I'll probably download it this weekend on PS4.

State of the Suns. Al McCoy interviews Ryan McDonough. Warning: "borderline all-star" phrase used by McD.

I used to play a great game on the Intellivision called Vectron. But I think a guy I used to work with had a Vectrex and I got to try it a couple times.
sea battle was the most popular game in my neighborhood.

Says he has no recollection of his 9 trips into the Apple store to steal electronics or his trips into the pawn shop to sell them.
Good luck with that defense.....

Ha ha. The old "I don't remember" defense. Isn't he caught on video surveillance? 9 times?! Uh, yeah.

The only way it's plausible that he doesn't remember is if he steals so much shit from so many places that there was nothing particularly memorable about these.
