This is the deal I would have expected for rubio
Beverly was praised for his play in the playoffs, while Rubio really hurt his team in the first round. Rubio gets $11 million more. Go figure.

Rubio isn't walking around on a knee that had both a microfracture and meniscus tear. I don't think Beverley makes it to the end of that deal.
Go Suns!

Awesome move for Memphis. I wish the Suns had used their cap space like that.
I’m sorry, but you can’t be serious. You wish the suns, after 9 years out of the playoffs, had used all of their cap space on Iggy (who would either demand a buyout or be our 4th small forward) so we could pick up a 2024 first rounder???
Not that it makes a difference to you, but I read that tweet wrong. I thought Memphis was getting three first rounders.

Why wouldn’t it make a difference to me? Pretty reasonable explanation.

So, DLo ends up getting a max $117M four-year contract from the Warriors on a sign and trade. No wonder we had no shot at him.

12.3 per. Gambo said we could get him for 7-9 per.

I would much rather have Rubio for 4.7 million more per year lol.

Holy shit. That Rubio deal's starting to look like a downright bargain relative to the other deals. Of course, most of the more expensive deals will look like white elephants soon enough. But Rubio's deal's only 3 years.

Seems to me like he was trying to use us as leverage, but Suns didn’t bite.

I'm not sure I like DLo's fit on the Ws.

And FWIW, I'd rather have Rubio for 17mil than Joseph or Beverly on their deals.

Inf will make a big deal about this one and while I love Ish, Rubio's better for us even on his deal.

Don't the Bulls have a lot of guards now?

I don’t think it was a matter of fit for the Warriors. I think it was the only way for them to keep Durant’s cap space.
