I liked Gordon more than most here, but I'm not distraught that he's leaving. I think we can find a replacement for him at a reasonable (minimum?) contract.

His knees are on borrowed time, bone on bone, I wouldn't give up anything for him.

We can offer him 20% higher I believe…so 4ish million
So maybe opting out was just a way to get more money from us? Fingers crossed.

The Blazers were prepared to trade Williams last year until he was injured...again.

Quick depth chart assuming Royce stays:

PG Booker
SG Beal, Allen, Lee
SF Royce, Dunn, Little, Bridges
PF KD, Bol, Roddy
C Nurk, Ighodara

Biggest hole is backup pg at the moment…I’d tske a 3rd C too…Bamba? Give me Bamba and Kris Dunn and I’ll be happy. We can work on trades later.

They would be pretty quick calls on Williams unfortunately.
Team: are his knees still stuffed?
Portland: yep

My bad. You're right. I just promised never to post in there again. One demerit for me.

I think they still need to sign a center and point guard who can actually be counted on for consistent contributions. Also another young two-way player with some potential that wouldn't hurt.

Yeah, I know their options are severely limited, but Kris Dunn and Bamba would putting a Band-Aid over a gunshot wound.

Still probably one of the better outcomes without making a trade.

Splitting hairs but I'd expect to see Dunn more at the 4. Holding out hope Bridges will be a contributor since we got nothing from Little last year.

Ya I agree…I just didn’t want to put Little on the 2nd string…truth is KD/Dunn could be our 3/4 combo in bench units and Dunn is probably the 4

Ya I mean they are vet min signings…I just don’t think we can do better.

The real difference needs to come from KD/Book/Beal anyways…they can’t play like they did last year.

That may be the best we can do, unless a good trade comes along. The roster would pretty much be a Dunn deal at that point, with very Little we can do, since there wouldn’t be many available Bridges to improvement.
