Inf will make a big deal about this one and while I love Ish, Rubio's better for us even on his deal.
Can you image this board’s reaction if Ish Smith was our big get in the FA market?

Knicks are doing ok for missing on the big names. They are gonna be a meh team for two years and try again in 2021. Not sure that 2021 will be any different though.

Interesting, wonder what the Blazers do with Nurk and Whiteside. Then again, Whiteside only plays about 50 games a year.

Also Nurk broke his leg...is he even gonna play next year?

Isn't Nurkic out for most of the year and Whiteside expires after it?

I'm not sure if I like that trade for the Blazers. I felt like Leonard was starting to round into a nice player -- still inconsistent for sure, but starting to figure it out.

Yea he broke his leg but I don't think he'll miss the whole season tho will he? Broke it end of March, I figured he'd be back by January? And it's not like a ligament tear/injury so once the bone heals he's good.
Don't love what the Blazers are doing but I guess they don't have a choice. Couldn't keep everyone but losing guys like Leonard, Curry, Aminu and Harkless can really hurt their depth. Baze was a good pickup tho.

Has Iguodala to MEM been posted?
Terrific move by the Grizzlies.

It’s a fine move by the grizzlies. Essentially they paid 15 million for a protected 1st. I can’t imagine they keep Iggy around.

Yeah, Iggy is as flippable as I have ever seen. I bet a ton of team would be interested. MEM is in for another asset if they want to take a garbage contract on equivalent length. Very good move.

I don't like that trade for Portland. I like Harkless and Leonard, especially what they did in this year's playoffs. And I have never been a big Whiteside guy; I think his stats have been a bit inflated and empty and don't like the injury history.

Who is Portland going to play at the 3/4? They’ve quietly lost 6 guys from their playoff rotation (aminu, harkless, Curry, Leonard, Kanter, Turner) Have they added anyone besides Whiteside and Bazemore? Maybe Simons steps into a role next year. Hood had some nice playoff moments, and maybe Little is ready. I still think they’re a little thin at forward.
Lillard/CJ/Bazemore/Collins/Whiteside is that their starting lineup?
With Simons/Hood/Little off the bench? Who am I missing? I think they need more depth.
