Williams would fit right in. 25 years old, athletic, and a low basketball IQ. SIGN HIM UP!

I'm going to assume you knew Delly wasn't going to get $30M a year from the Suns and that you were just fucking with us too.Cap wrote:On the upside, he's restricted. Maybe the Cavs will match.
Oh thank god.carey wrote:Check the account name, Cap. AFAIK there aren't two "Ls" in Vertical.

I'm torn on Dudley. I would only give him a 2-year deal because he's 30 and, although healthy last year, has been struggling a bit in that department. He shot pretty well last year for Washington. 42% from 3 and 48% from the field. I worry about his ability to play the 4 full-time. He's only 6' 7" after all. He does have those "athletic hands" though. His shot chart is interesting. Almost all right corner and right wing. I guess Wall operates exclusively on the left side? http://vorped.com/1-nba/2014-2015/playe ... shotchart/Marty wrote: Man I'd love to get Dudley back here as a Sun. He was the best. Great locker room guy, great for team chemistry and cheerful overall attitude. And we need more good shooters and guys who hustle on defense.
nit-picky, but Townes made 5.7 last year. So I expect top draft picks to be 6 or 6.5 this year. Probably someone knows for sure. In any case, you point that PJ is a good deal stands.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:LOL @ fake Delly $118m contract. Man I'd love to get Dudley back here as a Sun. He was the best. Guaranteeing PJ Tucker's $5m salary is, as others have said, a no-brainer, even if we get rid of him later on. $5m is almost minimum wage in the NBA at this point. Top draft picks make something like $3.6m, so $5m is barely north of what rookies are earning. Man, the times sure have changed in the NBA. I remember when the minimum salary was well under $1m.
For some reason, I thought the rookie scale was based on % of cap, but was questioning that when many were talking about how the rookies are going to be getting screwed.O_Gardino wrote:nit-picky, but Townes made 5.7 last year. If we bring back Dudley, I would love to see us ship out Tucker for a future first.
