Sad to see him go. I will miss him.
Any word about Dragan Bender? Are we going to go after him at all, even on a minimum or small-dollar contract? Are we just letting him walk away?

Neither here nor there, but if you guys have twitter give Dolan J. Trump a follow. One of the best parody accounts out there. He's been on fire lately.

If I were the Lakers I'd be on the phone offering a min deal to Bender. By the end of last season I said I wouldn't mind bringing back Daniels and Bender on minimum contracts, due to their shooting. LAL desperately needs 3pt around LeBron, they can't make the same mistake two years in a row.

Bender is still a better backup PF than anybody else on our roster. I'd really like to keep him if he'd take a low-dollar contract for a few mil a year for 2 years, say.

I think we need to move on from Bender. He doesn't provide anything.

I'd be very surprised if Dragan is in the NBA next season. There are probably no more than 2 or 3 teams that would even have interest in him, and he sure didn't look like he had interest in playing in the NBA last season.

Kings quietly putting together a very good roster.
With Trevor Ariza there to provide veteran leadership.

Bender did not shoot well last year.

That one was strange to me. Not sure he helps them much.

Not a huge fan of all their moves this off-season beginning with firing their coach. Could be in the mix for a 7th or 8th seed though.

Have they learned nothing from his stay here?

I know, but it's the min (he shot well at 37% last season, though). And he still has untapped potential. This would be a wise move for LAL, like getting Daniels is.

Ariza is very questionable, although second year is only partially guaranteed. Dedmon seems a perfect complement to Bagley. Joseph as a backup top Fox is pretty good. Barnes is gross. Holmes is decent.
