I really liked Biyombo. However, his offense was pretty much non-existent other than dunks. His hook shot was hit and miss. Not much touch. I wish him the best in life. How many people have dedicated a year's salary to a humanitarian effort?

I hope Jock posts a “Thank you, Suns!” tweet after that contract he got from the Rox.

Didn’t Dikembe Mutombo do that, also to build a hospital in the Congo? Must be a Congolese thing. Or just a coincidence.

They must have the best healthcare in sub-Saharan Africa. Thanks to two NBA players.

Deep end bench big capable to produce even after being inactive for long stretches of games?

All while keeping it cool about not getting minutes?

I said it before, with so many hired guns for the minimum, having one guy staying cool while getting no minutes is more valuable than we think. Bol Bol is a novelty at best, no way he is suddenly becoming a consistent and rotation level player , and at the minimum for a year, not worth developing either.

Az, don't be such a sourpuss...you don't know this doesn't work...

I don’t think it’s fair to say that Eubanks should be a deep bench guy who can sit for long stretches and not complain, although he’s certainly had his share of that in his early years. As the roster is currently constructed he is the first big off the bench and sort of our only depth behind Ayton.

I do agree with the Bol Bol concern tho as he’s a supreme chucker who’s never been confused with basketball IQ. The length is breathtaking but he’s probably not gonna hold down the fort at the 5 in this league. But also agree that if he signs a one year deal he’s not worth developing per se, other than the obvious need to create depth and win games.

Among the ratings listed at https://www.dexerto.com/nba-2k/nba-2k24 ... e-2204240/ , nobody matches that 98. LeBron, Giannis, Joker, Embiid and Luka get 97. Curry and KD get 96.

ETA: According to https://www.2kratings.com/ , Book’s a 92.

I’m fine with the Bol addition. No huge expectations, but it’s an upside play. I would have preferred Bamba or Watford, but we’re quibbling.

This was just a joke tweet, people for the last week have been doing fake 2K ratings as a joke. I saw one where Jaylen Brown’s handling was rated 3 lol

Hate. Why can't they just leave shit alone? I wish they'd just use the valley jerseys in all colorways.

Sometimes they really overthink things.

Just give us an (slightly) updated set like the ones they wore in the 1990s.

It's not hard to figure out. They'll sell a ton of jerseys.

Yeah, I really don't understand some of the crap they've trotted out. I'll never forgive those Nash era jerseys, and the Bledoes, oh man.

The uniforms they have right now are okay, just really bland. All I want is an updated 90's or 80's uniform.

But they keep thinking things like "they want gray shit with sleeves!"

And I don't now why teams need four uniforms. I miss they days of white and home and purple on the road. A third alternative throwback would be great, but I don't really like the "city editions" (or whatever the league is calling them). The "Valley" uniforms were fine as a third uniform, but turquise? That was just an eyesore.

This shit really cuts into my "GET OFF MY LAWN!" time.
