Listen to the answer when they ask "Is that a hard role to play?" What a genuinely good dude.

Whoa. When Len starts, he's overall as good as Chandler.
Don't drink that Watson Kool-Aid ... Watson will say that Len needs to improve his play on stretch 4s and 5s, but then doesn't ask the same thing of Chandler.
Going forward, I think a center tandem of Len, Williams and sometimes Bender will serve the team well.

I don't know, I've never been a huge Len fan and I don't see him being worth what he's going to get paid this summer.

If Len's gonna demand top dollar, then why not just replace him with Alan Williams?

Well, there is that. We'll have to see what the market can bear and what he wants.

I'd love to keep him at a decent price, but I'm worried we're looking at almost 20 million a year. I think Williams ceiling is as a backup, so if we do move Len, we'd need to find our starting C somewhere.

False dichotomy. We should trade Chandler and give both Len and Williams more minutes at center.

I think we can all agree that Chandler is not going to be around for Phoenix's first NBA championship. At least not in a player role.

1. Highly unlikely we're trading Chandler
2. Are you willing to pay Len 18 million next year to backup Chandler?

1. Anything is possible.
2. Nope.

Let's be realistic, he's nearly 40, he's probably not even gonna be alive for Phoenix's first NBA championship.
Hell I doubt most of us on this forum will even be.
